Who else you guys got that started off as a boxer then looked like a body builder
i was ringside for that one, too bad he never punched anybody like that ever again :lol1:
nice, you probably got even more hyped seeing that in person.
lol yea too bad he never punched anybody like that ever again, not even khan lol
Agree to a certain extent but bodybuilding has got weight divisions too, you are assuming only heavyweight bodybuilders.
no, they all try and sculpt proportions. the big, meaningful one being the ratio of waist to shoulders.
nice one with urango. i remember when devon got him with the uppercut, was really surprised

like the rest of these guys who balloon to a massive weight and then somehow, by the grace of god, are 140 lbs on a scale and 15 lbs heavier in 30 hours, tim bradley had great *cough* genes.
tim bradley's genes when he's not *cough* on gifted genes

It's not roids or even gifted genes. It's that vegan diet bruh!
Bruno was always muscular but by the time he faced mcall it was bordering on ridiculous. I don't think it did him any favours as he started to gas deep into fights.
Roy Jones at heavyweight
Ken Norton
Frank Bruno
Evander Holydield when he fought Mike Tyson the fiest time
Chris Eubank
Tim Bradley
Ike Ibeabuchi
Anthony Joshua
Kell Brook
Shawn Porter
Acting like a spoilt bastard lol. My favourite training regimen ever was Julio cesar chavez Jr eating cereal with pink pants on in the living room at midday, where he also trained shadowboxing in prep for his World title fight against Sergio martinez. Hahahaha fuking legend.
How did I forget that! Also I remember broner eating sweets before weigh in and missing weight haha
emille griffth
juan urango
jeff lacy
evander holyfield
all had elements of the "bodybuilder" physique. the big one associated with bodybuilding is that they've got small waists and are very broad aacross the shoulders and back, giving the perspective of huge size. obviously there are others who just are that kind of dried out and ripped looking, but i think the TS was talking about the proportions.
nice one with urango. i remember when devon got him with the uppercut, was really surprised
a pro athlete who makes millions of dolalrs when he wins, and goes back to ESPN friday night fights when he loses? on drugs?
nahhhh!
Bradley voluntarily participated in VADA testing on top of any other drug testing for all of his fights for the past 6 years. Even when JMM refused to do VADA, Bradley did, paid for it out of his pocket every time.
He made his vitamin supplier sign an agreement that they would pay him 1MM dollars if he ever pissed dirty from their products. He doesn't even drink.....or smoke.
while i suspect canelo is on a ton of drugs, that first picture is probably close to 10 years old now. he looked older than that when he was a teenager debuting on HBO.
This, obvious troll post.
Does Bradley count? He started boxing looking like a very muscular body builder and got even more muscular when he moved up to 147. Bradley's muscles have muscles. Marquez was thin for many years and then suddenly became far more muscular and moved all the way up to 147 in his old age. He didn't have the same slim build at all. Canelo always was stocky and muscular. About the time he fought Chavez and then GGG he looked a lot more muscular than ever before. In fairness to him strength training can add lots of muscle.
Rubin Carter
Haglers
Ike ibeabuchi
ibeabuchi is a good one. that guy looked like somebody carved him out of a block of wood. too bad he lost his mind, the guy had a lot of talent for boxing.
