I just got back home and caught the Jacobs vs Sulecki on replay and i thought Sulecki won almost every round.
I haven't slept yet so my mind is foggy and im zoned out of the commentary but how was the general conscious on this fight? Did many feel it was a robbery? I heard one score card was 117-110 and if anything i thought Sulecki was more deserving of that then Jacobs.
I'm gonna rewatch and score this. A lot of people had Sulecki winning.
I don't get it. I finished with a lot of admiration for him and it was closer than a couple of the scorecards but no way did I have it even let alone for Sulecki.

I disagree. Sulecki fought well but lost clearly.
It was a good fight fought at a high skill. Wouldn't mind seeing any of these two guys fighting against each other or anybody else.
But Jacobs was a clear winner with Sulecki having his moments. You cannot even make a draw out of this fight, very clear victory
Why is it hard to acknowledge it was a close fight? and some people may have given it to sulecki?
It's not hard. I never said it wasn't close.
It's just the idiots on this forum who think Sulecki won 8-4.
That's absolute nonsense.
Jacobs landed 40 more punches, was 10% more accurate and dropped Sulecki.
Under no circumstance did Sulecki win.
I think Jacobs clearly won the fight although I had it closer than a couple of the judges scorecards. Immense credit to Sulecki however, he put in a very solid performance. Great jab and judging by his recovery after the knockdown a good chin as well. He will come again.
Sulecki has P4P potential. Just needs to learn how be more rugged.

It was a fight that was reminiscent of Hurd vs Lara...the knock down is what sealed the decision. If DJ lost the last round, it would’ve been a draw. DJ looked a lil flat to me
I thought sulecki was doing great and possibly winning even though all the commentators had it wide for Jacobs. The 12th really did him in though. After the kd and 10-8 round, he was the obvious loser of the fight.
Jacobs looked like crap though.
Great fight. I thought the scoring was a bit closer than the judges had it but they had the right winner. Now Danny vs Charlo would be a fantastic fight. I think Danny takes it.
KiI cant believe this dude knocked out Centeno. He is so ordinary and cant punch for sht.
Sulecki isnt a factor in the MW division.
Believe it. Centeno was horrible. He didn't win a single round.

I don't know. I think he could stay about top 10 if he stays there. His power isn't the greatest but he seems well schooled.
You're a retard.
Nah man, some of the rounds given to jacobs by default were much closer and could have gone to sulecki. The HBO bias was the worst i've ever seen it
Why is it hard to acknowledge it was a close fight? and some people may have given it to sulecki?
I think Jacobs is overrated, because his best accomplishment is surviving against GGG. I don't think he won that fight. After listening to the HBO commentary during last nights fight, Jacobs might be the most massively overrated boxer right now. The slobbering over Jacobs nuts by the HBO crew was even more severe than the British crew over Joshua.
But lol at Sulecki being robbed, even Sulecki knew he lost, he was already clapping for Jacobs as the scores were being read.
After last night, I'm wondering if I'm guilty of this. I was pretty sure before that Jacobs would ruin Charlo, now not so sure.
i was ringside last night and i have very close ties with danny jacobs. with that being said, i too believe this was a much closer fight than two of the judges had it. Dont get me wrong, i had danny winning but when they read the judges scorecards i was actually very surprised they had jacobs that far ahead.
i gotta give credit where credit is due and i give sulecki a ton of credit! that boy can fight!!!
i hope this is a case of sulecki being a very good fighter and not a case of jacobs best years being behind him.
