Eddie Hearn stated on Sky Sports that Wilder's team refused to meet with him. Is this fact or is Eddie Hearn playing mind games?

If you want to play their games then They only asked for joshuas approval which he gave. Hearn is doing his job which is to question the details. If a deal sounds too good to be true it usually is.
More to the point, if it was a serious offer why the need to come public and not deal with it behind closed doors? They were set to meet anyway (which was delayed once before the offer, again from Thursday to Friday and then eventually cancelled by Wilder’s team).
Actions speak louder than words I’m afraid and a bit like wilders resume, there is no evidence to support their claims
I know your being selective but if you look at wilders post he made the offer you will see Joshua accepted within 15 minutes. Your principle is already there.
joshua said "lets roll" on twitter
but hearn didnt say anything of that sort...hearn started talking about not believing the money is real...that the offer was a stunt and this and that.....he didnt say "ok that sounds really great...thats what we want for money...were ok with it being in vegas or you picking the spot...lets finalize this"
he didnt...he started talking about how hes concerned for wilder that he might get shortchanged by his own people....and that the money doesnt add up or make sense....and a bunch of nonsense....
AJ saying "lets roll" on twitter isnt them agreeing in principle to the two major points presented by wilders team
as others have mentioned...no one said AJ had to sign anything...he had to agree in principle

I see it doing no more than 100,000 on American PPV because of the time it would be on, plus neither AJ/Wilder are stars in America. Getting people to buy the fight would have been a struggle with it being on Showtime and them not really being good at promoting a fight. They're nowhere near to what HBO are capable of.
Ward was doing good numbers on basic cable until he fought Kovalev on PPV. And you know what happened there. It flopped. I see the same thing with Wilder/AJ.
I think the time of it is why it does 200-250k. prime time can be higher but nowhere above 500k. getting ppl to buy fights is hard but undisputed hw championship of the world especially at a time where SHO budget is 3x HBO and they've sat on more than $30mill surplus they made from mayweather vs mc Gregor since neither had exclusive deals with them. SHO also has been spending very friendly prices on cards to retain and increase their viewership and allowed audience to stream from their app for free and watch fights on Facebook. thats 4x the effort HBO has been able to put into their programming. HBO makes billions and shrinks their boxing budget to where if you're not a promoter they like or a fighter their tied to, they won't give you more than 1mill for the whole card. ward vs kov consensus was no way should it be ppv. wilder vs Joshua is diff imo because both have been able to attain more casual attention than ward and Kovalev.
as others have mentioned...no one said AJ had to sign anything...he had to agree in principle
all of those details you listed would be worked out in a sit down with hearn...if he would agree to the principles that they said he needed to agree too
but hearn is backpeddling and scrambling and saying anything else he can think of except "yeah thats great were ready to hammer out the details now"
instead hes calling the offer fake and questioning the money
you dont question where al gets his money from...hes THEEEE power player in boxing
hearn never thought theyd be able to put together that kind of deal...he thought he could walk all over them and bully and insult them....and he got slapped across the face by their collective dick.....now dont know what to do except call the offer fake
Whether Hearn agrees in principle or not you don't refuse to sit down and discuss the fight. Pretending otherwise is nothing short of stupid. Sort yourself out will you. You're looking sillier by the post.
why don't you see it breaking 100k buys? most fighters when switching their platform to ppv can retain 10% of their regular audience. not to mention this fight has legs that are getting casuals into it, when I went to Ortiz fight, it was the second highest attendance and I was in a section full of Brits who came to see it (most of them rooting for Ortiz) they also knew dirrell but nothing about uzcategui so I know it was a fight invested to see wilder vs ortiz. Hearn knows uk ppv is a lock, he also knows he can raise ticket prices in wembly bc their 90k sell out was only a 8mill live gate. thats an average of 90pounds per seat. hearn is undervaluing this fight, clear as day. he may do it bc he can lock Joshua and wilder into fixed deals while match room can take a large % of the top.

Of course I would. Anyone can offer something but if they don’t have a business case around it I know it won’t work. In a business environment I would choose options which weren’t the most financially appealing at times because I have more confidence in their ability to deliver the business model they have created.
That is no different here. At the moment it’s words. It’s worse than that, it’s words without any substance. I mean, in this scenario cash is a factor but Joshua has other key things he is bothered about ..
1) where will fight be
2) size of ring
3) referee
4) judges
5) marketing commitments
6) impact of current contractual deals he has (sky sports, various sponsorship deals)
7) when will he fight be
8) who enters ring first
9) what will undercard be (this is a factor for Joshua as proven by his previous fights involvement)
10) what are the conditions of the payment. For instance if wilder pulls out injured what happens?
Lots other other much mallet info aswell
as others have mentioned...no one said AJ had to sign anything...he had to agree in principle

haymons track record speaks for itself...anyone asking to see als money is a complete delusional lunatic
so thats about what you are
So Hearn should sign AJ over to Haymon on nothing more than an E-mail from Wilder? hahahahahahaha
You're delusional.
This is my last reply to you, thanks for the laughs.
If Wilder and AJ fought in the UK with the American market doing PPV, I don't see it breaking 100,000 buys.
If Wilder liked the offer from Hearn, i'm sure he could have sat down and talked about him maybe getting most of the American PPV. I'm sure Hearn would have went for that considering he's really only interested in the British PPV market where most of the money would have came from.

Oh, have you stopped slagging Hearn off now Khan has signed to him? Hahahaha.
Nope. I am rooting for Wilder to do Jousha
Hearn is a ****, but Wilder is being led by clowns.
I really hope this 50 million offer is true so Jousha is forced to take the fight, but i am starting to think it is a publicity stunt because Shelly has no interest in sitting down and making the biggest fight of his lifetime
If they can't sit in a room and talk, then nothing will ever be achieved
you would question al haymons financing? really?
why?
Why would you hand over the biggest star in world boxing, with 3 world titles and the #1 in the division to another team with no guarantee of money?
Forget about the sponsors, his image rights, his promotional obligations etc etc
You are arguing a NOTHING offer so far, it's mental!
Your argument is "Haymon is rich, they shouldn't even check the details".... never mind AJ is the A-side and the draw, without him, Wilder and Haymon have no draw!
Seriously, are you stupid? Any rational person would ask for a meeting to discuss the details (Hearn has), he's interested, show him the details and it's on.

Shelly should attend the meeting, he has let Hearn get to him
A meeting is never non-productive. What is Shellys problem? Hearn is in town, he agreed to meet and then decided to cancel at the last minute.
Very unprofessional

No, but I would question them playing games and not wanting to sit down with Hearn to discuss things. But they're not interested.
It's a bogus PR move from Wilder and his side. If you can't see it then there's nothing that can be done for you.
Wilder and his side look stupid after what has transpired. And so do his fans. Like you.

Sit down like men, talk, iron out all the details and present the offer to your clients.
Your not even deluded, just clear bias.
Anyone with a cell in their brain knows that you wouldn’t just accept a $50 mil offer without confirmation of how financing will work.
Hell, if you like I’ll offer wilder $200 mil tomorrow, as long as he signs it without me explaining how I’ll pay him , what he needs to do etc.
what are your credentials?
if your credentials matched al haymons i wouldnt question where the money is from
but if its just you? yeah id probably wonder how you are gonna pay wilder.....but haymon? nah i wouldnt question it...he has a track record and credentials...hes around money
and so am I, which is why I said low end ppv numbers, even off 200-250k thats about $25mill revenue, thats horrible number for a heavyweight ppv when you compare it to heavyweight ppv historically. the lowest hw ppv was 120k from klitz over 10 years ago.

haymons track record speaks for itself...anyone asking to see als money is a complete delusional lunatic
so thats about what you are
exactly
you think its totally normal to question where the 50 mil haymon got is from
haymon that got 500 mil from investors for a cable boxing series...that made floyd a billion in earnings...lol...thats been a part of the highest selling fights ever.....
"hey man where you getting your money show me first"...like haymon has no track record
yet you can wrap your head around how ridiculous that is
after all of hearns antics
Your not even deluded, just clear bias.
