Offering a flat fee is not serious negotiation. We are not talking a Mayweather - Maidana type scenario here. We are talking two recognizable names. Rightfully so, Joshua is the bigger name albeit only in the UK so if you want to offer him 70-30%, 65-35%, 60-40% fine but to not offer any back end revenue is the same as saying I don't want the fight right now and don't tell me that nonsense about Wilder is making x times the amount he ever made 'cos Joshua will amount be making x times the money he's ever made too. You make good points in general, and Wilder does come off a little silly. However this is a large fight, probably the biggest HW fight to be made. B-Sides in big fights don't take flat fees. Golovkin didn't and Pac didn't. Hearn needs to offer Wilder 30%-35% and say take it or leave it.
