Why would he accept it when he knows Hearn will make a better offer? And as we often say in Real Estate whats the harm in asking? I mean behind closed doors a negotiator from each side can sit in and try to move the goal posts... Worse case scenario the A side gives a slight incentive to close the deal... Wilder feels like he got something and the deal basically gets made. Best case scenario Wilder gets a much better deal. Is there a rematch clause in this deal? thats important.
