Canelo isn't fighting in Mexico. He has had chances to fight at stadiums in Mexico but it just doesn't generate the same amount of money as fighting in the United States. From what I hear if he fights anywhere else he'll get no leniency on his suspension because the commission will feel like he's blowing them off so his 6 month suspension would be the 1 year minimum instead.
