Wlad may be a boring fighter but one thing I can say is that he is a boxing magician. He has great balance, power, footwork, jab, and right hand, plus he is a big HW. Ali wouldn't be able to get past the jab of a guy like Wlad and if he did, that right hand would catch him Everytime. Ali was the more talented, gifted, fighter of the two but he was not a better technical boxer than Wlad. Thoughts?
I think Wlad could give Ali problems with his jab and timing but you'd have to think Ali's own piston jab and speed would give Wlad all kinds of issues.
Can't see Wlad's attempts to hold working either.
I see Ali stopping him late.
Ali did lose some fights to lesser fighters compared to Wlad
Ali lost a few fights to lesser fighters when he was absolutely shot.
He wasn't losing and getting sparked out by the likes of Ross Purrity, Corrie Sanders and Lamont Brewster in his prime.
The real Wladimir Klitschko is not really a boxer. He is a scientist that works in a lab somewhere in Europe. The one we saw as a boxer, was really just a robot / android / cyborg programmed by the real human Wladimir Klitschko to box in disguise of himself for a decade. Obviously, the robot wasn't perfectly functioning at first, which is why he lost his few early fights until the robot was modified and programmed to finally become perfect. Which is when it became better and remained undefeated for around a decade. Until of course, the batteries were slowly running out of juice and the components started having more and more wear and tear which led to the robot running out of energy and declining. Which is why he lost his final bouts to Fury and Joshua.

GTFO
Ali would have done murder
Vitale butchered and bludgeoned Sanders who I liked into retirement
he'd retired already, genius. great claim, aint it, being able to beat up a retiree who when he was active, achieved nothing on the world scene and couldnt get close to a shot at Lennox..
anyway..wlad and vitali are the same person yeh? Cos this thread was about wlad, yet you introduced a vitali win.
Wlad being better than Ali is an example of what makes me lose faith in Boxing fans.
Agreed. All people seem to talk about is size and reach, boxing goes far deeper than physical genetics.
Most of these thinking Wlad wins easily have probably never even watched a prime Ali in the 60’s, the extremely mobile and fleet footed Ali would give Wlad kittens
and also, oleksandr usyk is superior to muhammad ali and they're about the same size (usyk is probably slightly bigger). Usyk looks more athletic, more versatile and just the overall superior boxer.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ali stops Wlad late, Wlad would never be able to handle Ali's speed of foot and hands. Wlad has NO defensive to use against Ali. Just watch him push with both hands in front of him when hit.
Ali has the superior chin and experience against a wider variety of opponents. When Ali falls he gets right up, when Wlad falls the fight is over!
Just watch them perform, it's all on video and the difference between them is enormous. Wlad does nothing better than Ali.
Ali is a top two ATG heavyweight, Wlad is not!
Ray
Wlad would have beaten Ali. Ali wouldn't be beating Wlad by boxing him, nor would he have the style to aggressively knock him out. Ali was never the power puncher fighter, he breaks you down by boxing you outside but that doesn't work against Wlad.
Ali's style...he wouldn't beat Fury, Lennox, Vitiali, Joshua, Weilder either
I not a big believer in corruption nowadays, I think a lot of paranoid people for the most part. Wlad didn't really avoid anyone, there was just no one that was any good to box apart from Haye and Povetkin, and I don't think his competition was any better before Brewster, he just had big frailties then. The Mk 2 version didn't, Steward ironed them out slowly but surely.
I thought the Haye performance was good, Povetkin performance was horrible, he should have been DQ'd in that fight I agree, the referee just wasn't brave enough, and I think more often than not, that is the problem.
Anyway as interesting as this convo is, none of it is on topic.
I'd go with that.
Wlad became safety first whatever the cost/cheat... but if you are honest, you would admit that a 30 year old man could have had picked up a safety first attitude much earlier in life. Most boxers learnt o defend themselves by their thirties. But wlad gets a free pass for this a lot. He simply wasnt good enough to acquire a decent set of skills at the same rate as others.
Stfu you know jack sh@t about boxing. You're a waste of internet data being on here talking to yerself.
or twalking twoo yerself, as ATG Number 1 HW 400lb Dwead Pirate Woberts would put it.
"too bwig"
"as big" lol
if only someone had told the Dwead Piwate Woberts, he'd have been ATG number 1 HW.

Yeah it's a shame that killers like Ross Puritty, Lamon Brewster, and Corrie Sander's weren't around during those days.
You're a clown. Claiming that Conor McGregor is a big puncher as a boxer only further shows your ignorance.
You should focus on the fact that Wladimir fought in more world HW title fights than any other heavyweight in history and held the title for almost a decade in an era of more athletic, larger fighters who were most likely doping.
And saying that McGregor can't punch at all is a lie is far from saying he's a big puncher in terms of boxing. How much technique should he have in one real boxing training camp you twit. He had enough power to f@ck Paulie's a55 up with headgear on and sparring gloves. Only a fkn moron like you and this other twit would think that because you're a hater. F@ck off
