No I'm feeling like you don't really got an opinion on this cuz "like I don't believe in rankings passed the top ten dude" or w/e the f#ck, but still disagreeing with my stance WHICH is actually more reasonable, imo, than other respected rankings.
Bro I showed you the Transnational rankings got Yarde 10th.
https://www.tbrb.org/all-rankings/
Two of the ABC Groups got him in their top 5 (since the IBF doesn't rank the top 2 guys thats what he is reallllly.
http://*********.com/rankings-2
And I suggested you actually consider the non-top ten guys remaining & consider where you'd put Yarde. Go look at the LHW division minus the top ten guys. Its f#cking straight garbage man. If you don't consider Yarde in the 11th to 25th (my range was 11-20, but I said I could see it out to 25) spots based on the guys out there I don't think you know sh^t about boxing.
He's better than a sh^tton of non-top ten guys. And thats all he needs to be to be cuz thats how rankings work. All this domestic level sh^t don't mean nothing.
You could be "domestic" level & top ten if the division is bs enough.
Again happens all the time. Who did Spence fight when he was top ten at WW? Algieri who was 1-2 at WW? Bundu?
I've answered this sh^t a half dozen times. You just aren't doing your part.
Go look at boxrec. Take out Kovalev, Bivol, Browne, Beterbiev, Stevenson, Jack, Alvarez, The Nail & whoever else you consider top ten. Now create me a "new top ten" of who's left & let me see how bs that list looks like if it doesn't have Yarde in it. And let me see some other top prospects you include for some weird reason over Yarde or gotta leave out cuz you are trying to leave out Yarde.
Go do that sh^t before you write another response & not reading what I said again you weirdo creating an argument over nothing mfer lol.
😂😂Again you’re taking this so personally😢 you’re real sensitive and agitated.
Showing me “indie” rankings does NOT substantiate you’re absurd opinions that Yarde-Beterbiev is “close” and that Yarde is a top 15 light heavyweight. For example Boxrec’s “indie ratings” has Jeff Horn #9 in its P4P rankings does that substantiate that Jeff Horn is a p4p top 10 fighter?? NO!
You can b*tch moan and use all the expletive’s you want it won’t change the fact that you’re opinions are unfounded and frankly ridiculous.
The fact that you’re comparing Spence beating a former world champion and and the 2 time reigning European champion to Yarde’s opposition shows just how limited your understanding is.🤣🤣Seriously, guys like Van Heerden who Spence beat were at a far higher level than anyone Yarde has beat.
AGAIN, what on Yarde’s resume suggests he is a top 15 LHW???
The answer is NOTHING
AGAIN, how can Yarde be a top 15 LHW without fighting anyone remotely near to the top 15??
The answer is he CAN’T be.
Just to prove a point and end this nonsense, I’ll give you a top 15.
No particular order.
1. Kovalev
2. Stevenson
3. Bivol
4. Jack
5. Gvozdyk
6. Beterbiev
7. Alvarez
8. Browne
9. Barrera
10. Chilemba
11. Smith Jr
12. Fonfara
13. Braehmer
14. Murat
15. Mikhalkin
And then loads of other guys like Rodriguez, Oosthuizen, Shabransky, Koelling etc etc have all fought at a HIGHER LEVEL and have BETTER RESUMES than Yarde.
And that is NOT even debatable!
Even domestic level guys like Callum Johnson and Buglioni have better resumes than Yarde FFS.
Yarde is clearly not a top 15 LHW yet, and Beterbiev-Yarde are not “close”. You were WRONG just accept it.
Right I’ve got work in the morning so I’m going to bed, I’m sure I’ll have more unsubstantiated nonsense and a load of “mfers” to respond to in the morning.🙄🙄🙄
Well then why you b^tching about it so hard cuz I see Yarde as a top 15, top 20 guy if you don't even buy "the system"?
What the f#ck man. Just trying to disagree with some minor bs for the sake of disagreeing.
CUZ LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT IS SOFT PAST THE TOP TEN FOR THE FIFTH F#CKING TIME AND YARDE IS PROBABLY THE BEST PROSPECT IN THE DIVISION.
Sh^t most the time the best prospect in a division is getting top ten or just barely outside the top ten status by most indie rankings even in deep divisions. Spence did f#ck all & was 9th or 10th at WW & WW is always deep.
Seriously you’re taking this way too personally and now you’re frankly whining like b*tch cause you’re opinions of: Yarde-Beterbiev being “close”, and Yarde being a top 15 LH are UNSUBSTANTIATED and ultimately WRONG.
All you are doing is making UNSUBSTANTIATED claims that Yarde is top 15, when there is little to no evidence to support them.
AGAIN, what on Yarde’s resume suggests he is a top 15 light heavyweight?
AGAIN, how can Yarde be considered top 15 when he is yet to fight ANYONE remotely close to the top 15?
You clearly can’t answer these questions... so there is no point continuing this.
I want to see him go the traditional route before going for a world title. He should definitely go for Johnson, if he wins that he can get the already built up defence against Buglioni, then the EBU title and defend that once or twice.
Only after that grounding would I want a young prospect to face the top guys in the division, and Beterbiev certainly looks like one of them.
Agreed, no point rushing him, he’s not some accomplished amateur like A.Selby, Taylor, Campbell etc who you can fast-track. And he’s also by no means an experienced amateur as he only had 12 amateur contests, therefore he is still learning, and we are still learning what level he is truly at. That’s why I’d love to see him test himself at domestic level, European level etc before jumping up to world level.
Him vs Johnson is a great fight and 50/50 fight IMO, I hope the board mandate it.
Is he a coward? I think so.... Possibly fighting Callum Johnson though.
Yarde is a coward? He's only had a handful of fights. He hasn't even fought for the British title yet but he's supposed to go for a world title?
GTFOH!
I would assume you have some general opinion where he's at. Thats why I said top 15ish, top 20ish cuz he's one of the best prospects in the division if not the best & its a soft division past the top ten.
I'm not making a monthly list like some of these dorks on here, but I got a general sense of where guys are at, #1, top 3, top 5, top 10, top 15ish top 20ish, top 50ish. After top 50ish I don't think about sh^t that sh^t hard, but that covers virtually any solid prospect we'd be talking about usually with most divisions anyway.
I don’t really buy into this whole ranking system, especially at anywhere beneath world level anyway.
Yarde is not a legitimate contender yet so I’d basically class him as unranked. This is the problem these BS intercontinental belts create, because Yarde now has an artificial ranking via winning these titles, people and organisations now perceive him as a contender when in reality, he is yet to even have success at domestic level.
Boxing is about levels. And the way I look at it is Yarde is yet to prove himself at even domestic level, so he can’t be considered to be one best 15 Light Heavyweights in the world without having beat let alone fought anyone remotely near the top 15.
That sounds like a solid plan, just because Yarde has obvious talent he should be properly guided.
Too many prospects have been ruined by being moved too fast.
If I was handing him I would move him a little slower because he is so inexperienced.
And yeah he might have top 15 ability but has not done enough to be ranked so highly
It's fine with experienced amateurs, it was obvious after 2 fights that Josh Taylor could move quickly and was at least British level, and he should be fighting top guys now after 12 fights and challenging for world titles in a vacated division with no solid champs.
I just don't know about Yarde, he's looked good so far, but there's some tough journeyman that will take him some rounds and some good fighters at British and European level to test himself on before stepping up.

Completely agree, he hasn’t even fought at domestic level yet, I’d much rather see Yarde fight Callum Johnson, Buglioni etc as opposed to throwing him in with Beterbiev, a fight he is nowhere near ready for.

Can we just be honest and admit that his trainer and team would never put him in with Beterbiev yet, Yarde isn't even fringe world level yet, give the guy 20 fights before stepping up.

Where do you got him ranked doe?
Do you seriously think I have some top 50 LHW ranking system I can just pull out my ass???
He’s certainly not top 15 though. And him vs Beterbiev is certainly not “close”. That’s just common sense.

yeah yarde definitely aient top 15 lol. he hasnt even had a real fight yet, a bunch of journeymen and washed up super middleweights..fish eyes wont even let him in with hosea burton ffs :lol1:
I dont think he is top15 at all, boxrec has him at #15 though.
First jump in ratings by beating Richard Baranyi, who was at the lower top 50, which got yarde a top 50 ranking at boxrec.
He also received an artificial jump to the top 20 by beating Nikola Sjekloca, because Nikola Sjekloca also jumped in ratings by drawing with robert stieglitz one fight before.
Other than that he has beaten Tony Averlant (lower top 50). thats it.
Exactly my point, he’s beaten nobody to suggest he is top 15.
I’m not a Yarde hater in the slightest, I actually like him, I’ve even been to watch him live.
I’m just a realist. Yarde is not a top 15 fighter yet, as I said there is nothing on his resume to suggest otherwise.
How can he be a top 15 fighter when he hasn’t fought anyone even remotely close to the top 15??

Where do you got Yarde ranked? Have you looked at the 175 division? I think he's EASILY top 15ish, top 20ish in this sexy at the tip top, but not so much after that division.
If you don't got Yarde in the top 20 or maybe I could even see an argument for top 25 you must just be a hater. I mean once you start getting down past the top 20 guys like Craig Baker & Trent Broadhurst start being among the most accomplished guys ffs lol. Or prospects that have shown LESS than Yarde.

Why is Beterbiev trying to fight an inexperienced novice? Shouldn't he be setting his sights a little higher?
Ibf went through the rankings and everyone ranked refused, yard e is one of those guys
People here only judge beterbiev by his fights. But none here know what Beterbiev is really capable of.
In fact, Beterbiev destroy his Sparring partner just like it was a real fight no one ever lasted more than 3-4 rounds and thats include Chilemba, Pascal and i'm sure many are not named.
Do you understand what it mean? in 12 rounds Beterbiev destroy 4 boxers. thats if they all make it to 3 rounds.
So they get scared of him.
Most indie rankings I see & logically I think he's around the top 15, top 20 tier personally.
Transnational rankings even got him #10. I disagree, but I know most people, including myself, see them as the least bs indie rankings. Two ABC Groups got him in their top 10.
Bro quit trying to force some disagreement you weirdo lmfao.
This division ain't THAT f#cking deep & Yarde is among the most blue chip prospects in the division which often gets you in the top ten, top twenty alone.
Again, top 15 based on what???? There is NOTHING on his resume to suggest he’s top 15! And there’s certainly NOTHING to suggest him vs Beterbiev is “close”.🤣🤣
I’m the weirdo when you’re trying to claim a guy who hasn’t even fought at domestic level is a top 15 fighter😭😭😭
Pathetic.
