For you doping experts: If Nevada lifts the suspension, how much will Canelo have potentially benefited from drug use?
Or will it matter? Will it be a clean fight? Or will there be lasting benefits from chemically enhanced training?
I'm hoping there will be no excuses either way, but in today's boxing I have no idea.
Nope, he already benefited from Clen using it for burning extra fat & cutting weight... He will be in better shape for upcoming fight & won't have weight cutting issues this time.
He always used to have weight cutting issues in 155 & even in last fight vs GGG in 160 lbs limit.
You have a solid point, but how do we know what part of camp he cuts at? Maybe you know better than I do.
Most guys that HAVE to cut, do it in the last leg of training. Not many Floyd type characters out there that are in shape 24/7.
Joshua for instance said the last week of his last fight he just layed around and ate food and said that's how he came in heavy. Do I believe him? Not sure, but it's worth mentioning.
He's already went thru his cycle. When he failed the tests he was cycling off the Clenbuterol which was the last part of his PED cycle, wringing the excess fat out of his structure. It's the 2 months before camp actually starts that are key.
He's clean now lol. They caught him too early imo for him to get a benefit or maybe he did, hard to say no idea what his weight is atm.

he'll probably be more clean than he was the first time. the spotlight is on him now, and he should be tested heavily until the fight...probably the cleanest canelo ggg is gonna get.
Of course not. He got caught even after they delayed announcing the fight so that he could keep cycling. God knows what else he's took. Clen may be the least of what he's put in his body.

NO! Just like in weightlifting they all take PEDs during off season way before... months before the actual competetions & events.
Those weightlifters obviously take drugs but they come 'clean' to competetions.
My understanding is no, he wont be clean. Majority of the dirty fighters cycle during the offseason. They build up physical attributes when they're not being tested, then are clean in the period leading up to the fight. They keep the physical gains they've made during the cycle for quite awhile.
This is a very good piece of info. I'll use it in my future irl discussions about Canelo lmao. Niice.

I don't know. I am not expert at all. I am not even sure any ped actually increases a boxer's speed, stamina, punching power or ability to take a punch. I have never seen any tests that prove any type of ped helps make a boxer fight better. Maybe they do and maybe they don't. If Canelo didn't fail the test by accident by eating tainted meat but deliberately cheated then he probably cheated for the first fight. If he is telling the truth then he doesn't have much of the banned substance in his system anyway and will test clean from now on. If he did cheat for the first fight it didn't get him the win and I thought he lost. I want the fight to happen on time and I expect GGG to win it. I like Canelo but I like GGG more and will be rooting for him to win. I am not worried about Canelo having an unfair advantage. I think the better fighter will win and peds won't change that.
