Simple question, has Whyte done enough to earn a shot of the mighty Wilder?
Bear in mind that Wilder fought Firtha (21-10), Malik Scott (lol) and Jason Gavern (25-16) before he earned his shot at Stiverne.
Whyte has fought Chisora, Tann, Helenius and Browne.
Why does Wilder get a pass for his undeserving ranking and title shot but now Wilder fans are discrediting a prime Whyte as a deserving contender?
Are you trying to claim Browne isn’t a cheat after he failed 2 separate tests??😭😭😭😭
“Body of work”😭😭 please, he got a gift against a absolutely shot Chisora who Kayabel beat comfortably, and a faded Helenius with no ambition on a couple of weeks notice. Yeah real impressive🙈🙈
You weren’t even involved in this discussion, you misread what I said, I PROVED to you it was CORRECT. And now you’re taking L’s.
He got jobbed once and like Whyte got done for an over the counter product.
I love when someone overly exaggerates something in order to put someone else down. That's exactly how you know they have an agenda.
"gift" vs Chisora. It was a close fight that a lot of people felt Whyte won. And if you know anything about Chisora you'll understand why he was an entirely different animal against Whyte than he was against Kabayel.
You can slice it and dice it whichever way you want to, Whyte has wins over Chisora, Helenius, and Browne in the span of a little over a year. As well as giving a good account of himself in a losing effort.
Outside of Povetkin who's mandatory for the WBA, who exactly is fighting better guys?
I just believe in Whyte and think he can challenge, he has improved since Chisora, lets not forget he is improving all the time since working with a new trainer and that Chisora fight was a great learning experience.
It's like Wilder after 30 fights, he's improved dramatically since he was 29, and Whyte will be the same, you will see....
No hard feelings, have a good one mate.
You too bud, it was a good “discussion”😂😂
I think Whyte is improving myself, and is only one good win away from deserving a title shot.
A gift against a shot Chisora and a faded Helenius on a few weeks notice😭😭 really?
I don’t intend to go back and forth all night so I’ll agree with you on one thing, I also enjoy seeing a PED cheat getting some comeuppance, and I also hope GGG puts a beating on Canelo.

No, he has also beaten Chisora and Helenius and is ranked #1.... and beating a drug cheat is always a good thing, it's actually one of my favourite things in the sport.
Oh I loved seeing a non-ped Browne getting dominated by Whyte, and then brutally ko'd.... and I'm glad Wilder ko'd Ortiz as well. When I seen him gas I knew Wilder would ko him, 2 rounds previous.
Good for the sport. I hope GGG ko's Clenelo as well.

In what world is that contradicting? Do you know Browne's history? :lol1:
And also, it's the body of work Whyte has put in over the past two years, not just yesterday night.

Didn't stiverne just get a shot after one fight in like 3 years? And being semi-retired?
Yup, and Wilder got lots of credit for beating that version of Stiverne. I want to see him against a young, prime and tough opponent.... sue me.
If Joshua beats Parker clearly then obviously I want the undisputed fight, but Whyte is the next best opponent.

Someone can’t read properly...
I said: he contradicted himself (which he did) by saying inactive ex drug cheats don’t deserve a title shot whilst justify Whyte getting a title shot off the back beating an out of shape inactive ex drugs cheat in Browne. I was calling Browne an ex drugs cheat NOT Whyte. So I WAS CORRECT.
In what world is that contradicting? Do you know Browne's history? :lol1:

“Old, inactive drug cheats aren’t deserving” yet you are justifying Whyte getting a title shot off the back of beating one in Browne.
A complete and utter CONTRADICTION😭😭😭😭
Absolutely pathetic.

Because the WBC is the only thing keeping Wilder relevant, lets be real. He was forced into his mandatory that he avoided for a long time. Povetkins team offered so much cash they would be stupid to turn it down, and if they vacated he would never be in this position now.
I know Whyte was taking a supplement for a long time and then WADA banned something that was in it, he didn't know and carried on taking it..... hardly a drug cheat, and he served a solid sentence and has been clean for years. Povetkin and Ortiz popped recently and are much older and have teams around them checking these things, Whyte didn't.
No contradiction. Old, inactive drug cheats are not more deserving than a young guy who got a positive test due to a popular supplement years ago (made a mistake) and who is active and visibly improving all the time.
hahahahahaha
“Old, inactive drug cheats aren’t deserving” yet you are justifying Whyte getting a title shot off the back of beating one in Browne.
A complete and utter CONTRADICTION😭😭😭😭
Absolutely pathetic.
He tested positive for MHA a PED stimulant and supplement, it’s his own responsibility for what he puts in his body. No excuses!!! As I said do your research.
“Lone Wolf”😭😭😭😭😭 have you heard yourself?
If Wilder was so scared to fight Povetkin why not vacate the belt? He had the balls to sign a contract to go over to Russia to fight Povetkin, you can’t dispute that! And he then went and fought Luis Ortiz as a voluntary even after Ortiz got popped for PED’s! A guy who was mandated to fight AJ.
You’ve clearly CONTRADICTED yourself claiming “inactive ex drug cheats” don’t deserve a title shot, whilst trying to justify Whyte getting a title shot off the back of beating an out of shape “inactive ex drug cheat”.😭😭😭😭 L.

You said he contradicted himself by saying inactive drug cheats don't deserve title shots and thereby calling Whyte a drug cheat in the same breath.
Which he was never, so you're not correct.

I didn’t say he’s a drug cheat I said “he failed a drugs test”. Which is CORRECT.

Only an idiot would say Whyte is a drugs cheat and don't know anything about what happened.

Whyte was using a supplement that had a drug in it that was banned at the start of the year by WADA, he was a lone wolf with no team behind him, he's guilty of being stupid and not having a team monitoring what supplements and protein he is using, nothing more.
Do YOUR research! you can't even compare them you moron.
Whyte has been clean for many years, he made a mistake when he was young, can't compare that to Ortiz or Povetkin who should know better.
And Wilder was MANDATED to fight Povetkin, he had no choice!

Wtf are you talking about????
Whyte failed a drugs test as well, remember? Do your research.
You’re claiming “old, inactive ex drug cheats” aren’t deserving, yet trying to claim Whyte is deserving off the back of beating an out of shape, old, inactive ex drug cheat in Browne How hypocritical of you. Looks like you’ve just completely CONTRADICTED yourself.
Are you actually arguing Whyte is better than Ortiz and Povetkin???? Mental.
“Whyte would beat Ortiz”
And “Wilder would never fight Povetkin”he signed a f*cking contract to fight him in Russia you nutcase! As I said do your research.
Fans like you are the problem wanting Whyte get a title shot on the back of beating an out of shape “inactive ex drug cheat” in Browne instead of him earning it the proper way against a another top contender like Brezeale.
Pathetic.

So, two 38 year old drug cheats and a 36 year old that has had 2 fights in 2 years and is coming off injury....I really worry about the sport with fans like you.
If the sport comes down to who WAS better, and age didn't matter, I'd agree with you.... but we all know Lennoz Lewis can't fight any more lol Povetkin, Ortiz and Pulev would be better names in their prime, or if they were active, but after watching Ortiz gas after 7 rounds, and not seeing Pulev for a while......you have to admit Whyte is THE most deserving HW to fight for a title.
We all know Wilder would never fight Povetkin voluntarily, I rate him above Wilder so that won't happen and he doesn't DESERVE a shot more than Whyte. Pulev needs a comeback fight and some momentum before I would even advise getting in with Whyte never mind Wilder... Whyte would win due to youth and activity. Ortiz doesn't have the stamina to box Whyte for over 6 rounds, he'd need an early ko or Whyte stops him in the second half.
So, you can pick old, inactive, or ex-drug cheats all you want.... but you will never convince me that Whyte isn't more deserving than any of those guys.
Wtf are you talking about????

The WBC’s and all other ABC organisations rankings do not give an accurate reflection of who’s truly deserving of a title shot because they’re all based on politics and meaningless intercontinental, international, silver belts etc.
But looking at their top 15 I’d say:
Ortiz and Povetkin are superior fighters to Whyte but Ortiz has just had a shot and Povetkin is WBA mandatory. Pulev is better than Whyte IMO but he’s pretty inactive theses days and is going the IBF route.
Whyte and Brezeale are pretty much level for me, but both of them and the rest of the fighters in the WBC’s top 15 are not legitimate contender’s yet, hence the reason I’d like to see an eliminator between Whyte/Brezeale/Ortiz etc to establish a legitimate mandatory challenger.
