Why are people acting like Joshua is a proven ppv draw??

My buddies who watch boxing once every few years have definitely mentioned "Anthony Johnson" and "the other guy." So maybe they sort of have crossed over into the mainstream?? That did bring on an involuntary chuckle, man.:beerchug:

I don't recall anyone saying aj is a ppv star in the USA. He's a UK ppv star and a cash cow. Any fighter who earns over 15 mil is a cash cow in boxing because it's very rare. His fights sell around the world and he fills stadiums. He is by far the largest star in the heavyweight division.

Joshua is box office, Wilder is straight to DVD

Because he is in the UK. The US PPV market is dead, post mayweather and 700k sales is seen as a success. I know US PPV is more expensive and generates more money but Joshua puts bums on seats and gets casual fans buying his fights. Any fight with wilder will take place in the UK.

Yea he sold on those UK ppv's but not on the world stage..He is still really unknown and if you put him on a national ppv broadcast he would do less then 100k...To be brutally honest Joshua-Wilder on ppv would not break 300k IMO neither are really known outside of hardcore fans and both sides are doing a horrible job as getting them known..iT IS TIME TO TAKE THESE 2 TO THE BIG STAGE AND STOP THIS LOCAL SH1T!! Joshua is practically a household name in the UK now so I don't understand how you can say nobody outside the hardcores know about him. Its Wilder who isn't that well known in his own country. They should fight in the UK if they don't think it will do big in the US, it will do massive numbers over here, there's a lot of money to be made over here in Boxing and that's why many foreigners are asking Hearn to sign them.

AJ has had only 20 fights and is making massive money and drawing huge crowds. He is being marketed very well so far. The fight with Wilder should definitely be in England and maybe the return in the U.S., depending of course on how the first one turns out. this is definitely the end game strat if they are trying to make this fight next. holyfield - tyson 2 was much, much bigger than holyfield tyson 1. if the fight is good in england you can bring the rematch to las vegas. a bunch of brits will go, lots of americans, and lots of international high rollers.

AJs a massive draw in the Uk You factor in 1.5 mil PPV for Klit ( obviously the opponent had a large part to do with it ) and packing 80-90k when he fights With UK having a population of around 65 mil that equals to around 1 out of 40 people in the UK paying to watch his fight on TV or going to see him live That number is absolutely f.ucking ridiculous when you think about it To say otherwise is retarded
