Yea he sold on those UK ppv's but not on the world stage..He is still really unknown and if you put him on a national ppv broadcast he would do less then 100k...To be brutally honest Joshua-Wilder on ppv would not break 300k IMO neither are really known outside of hardcore fans and both sides are doing a horrible job as getting them known..iT IS TIME TO TAKE THESE 2 TO THE BIG STAGE AND STOP THIS LOCAL SH1T!!
My buddies who watch boxing once every few years have definitely mentioned "Anthony Johnson" and "the other guy." So maybe they sort of have crossed over into the mainstream??
That did bring on an involuntary chuckle, man.:beerchug:
I don't recall anyone saying aj is a ppv star in the USA. He's a UK ppv star and a cash cow. Any fighter who earns over 15 mil is a cash cow in boxing because it's very rare.
His fights sell around the world and he fills stadiums.
He is by far the largest star in the heavyweight division.
Because he is in the UK. The US PPV market is dead, post mayweather and 700k sales is seen as a success. I know US PPV is more expensive and generates more money but Joshua puts bums on seats and gets casual fans buying his fights. Any fight with wilder will take place in the UK.

"nobody knows who wilder is....he needs to raise his profile"-hearn and the legion of AJ excuse makers
then
"so what if AJ doesn't want wilder to get in the ring and cause a stir...that's not AJ's style....and AJ doesn't want it done without a contract first even though hearn hasn't offered wilder any terms or contract ever"-AJ's excuse makers
You evidently do care about it, else you wouldn't have disagreed with the statement in the first place. Basically you get upset anytime anything positive about Joshua comes up and react like an emotional child. Your next statement is undoubtedly going to be calling me an 'alt', as that's how ridiculously predictable you are (though maybe you won't because i've just flagged it).
Just so you are aware by the way... i've talked numerous time about wanting to see Joshua v Wilder.
You can’t tell people that they’re upset lmao. And second..you clowns have the mentality like it’s ok to dis Wilder and that you’re not supposed to dis Joshua. Whotf are y’all? Lmao. I have to debunk that kind of thinking.
You should talk more about wanting to see Joshua Wilder and stop blowing him with **** that we don't care about Joshua dick blower.

Joshua is practically a household name in the UK now so I don't understand how you can say nobody outside the hardcores know about him. Its Wilder who isn't that well known in his own country.
Joshua's paydays compared to anyone else at HW alone shows why he's a huge draw, you don't get paid it unless you generate it and anyone in the HW division will get their biggest payday fighting him, he's been marketed amazingly.
They should fight in the UK if they don't think it will do big in the US, it will do massive numbers over here, there's a lot of money to be made over here in Boxing and that's why many foreigners are asking Hearn to sign them.
I think he could do around 300k PPV in the US. Dudes a crossover star. Hes not unkown in the US the guy is on primetime underarmour and beats commercials.

You should totally apply to work at SportsProMedia as you clearly know much more than them.

AJ has had only 20 fights and is making massive money and drawing huge crowds. He is being marketed very well so far. The fight with Wilder should definitely be in England and maybe the return in the U.S., depending of course on how the first one turns out.
this is definitely the end game strat if they are trying to make this fight next. holyfield - tyson 2 was much, much bigger than holyfield tyson 1. if the fight is good in england you can bring the rematch to las vegas. a bunch of brits will go, lots of americans, and lots of international high rollers.
He is not the most marketed or marketable athlete in the world.

Wilder is nowhere near as a Star as Joshua... He has to BEG AJ to fight him for a payday... lol
Boxers want to fight. You wouldn't know that by this pathetic answer that you gave. Wilder wants a fight and says that he is willing to do it here or abroad. Stop hiding behind this ***** answer and act like a boxing fan for once Joshua dick blower. Lmao
Experts in marketing say so:
http://www.sportspromedia.com/insight/the-worlds-50-most-marketable-2017-at-a-glance
^ That website is referenced every year for their 'most marketable' list by numerous publications, including Fox Sports in the US.
Anyway...
Pretty much everyone acknowledge that Joshua is not a PPV draw in the US and that he needs to face Wilder to even contemplate being one, but that does not remotely mean that he is not a known commodity worldwide because the entire world is not the UK and USA.
He is not the most marketed or marketable athlete in the world.
AJs a massive draw in the Uk
You factor in 1.5 mil PPV for Klit ( obviously the opponent had a large part to do with it ) and packing 80-90k when he fights
With UK having a population of around 65 mil that equals to around 1 out of 40 people in the UK paying to watch his fight on TV or going to see him live
That number is absolutely f.ucking ridiculous when you think about it
To say otherwise is retarded
