Locche above Ortiz? How?
He's the only 8 division champ... I'm only citing that up coz on record, a win is a win whatever the critics say. 4 wins on the Top 20 all time, that's amazing.
I thought you meant he was on my list itself but yea Pacq is def the best asian fighter imo.
Yes, highly underrated. Holds wins over Benny Paret, Virgil Atkins, Emile Griffith, Curtis Cokes, Holly Mims, George Benton, Rubin Hurricane Carter, Bennie Briscoe, Denny Moyer...all in their prime.
Agreed, underrated. He was a great fighter, and a great boxer to watch. But Luis only fought in four world championship bouts. He won only once, briefly holding the welterweight crown, which he promptly gave back to Emile Griffith. I find it hard to justify him as #2 on such a list, but he’s an interesting choice.
“El Feo” at number two? Wow. Sweet fighter though. Ali learned some things from him.

Oscar Delahoya should be at number 20 Richardo Lopez had far better skills than Oscar so did Wilfredo Benitez

Pacquaio is a 6 division champ. He never won a real or recognized world title at 126 or 140.
It's really ****in with me cuz I can't figure out which boxer that is.

Lomachencko's Papi is the G.O.A.T.
that's a good point. if loma beats linares, garcia, spence, and crawford salido will still be better than him and will have all those wins on his ledger through osmosis which would make him the greatest of all time. loma can do no better than #2 greatest fighter of all time

To do a good job of picking the 20 best and putting them in proper order would take me hours and be more work than fun. Napoles was my favorite and the one I think was the best for his size. I followed his career closely. He should have been lightweight champion and wasn't a full welterweight. The lightweight champions of his time ducked him so he won the welterweight title. I think he would have defeated the great Duran at 135, 140 or 147 so he is my number 1 hispanic boxer. Duran would be my number 2.
