I give Dorticos the best Shot for success at Heavy with that size and power, will need to mix up his punches more though, also tighten up his defense, he won't be able to get into a slug fest with these Heavyweights and expect to last
Uysk I think can out-box all of them but can he do it for 12 straight rounds and avoid their Power and can his stamina hold up for 12. He would be carrying extra weight at Heavy so stamina could really be a Issue for him at Heavyweight
Gassiev advantage is his age, only 24 years old so he has a lot of TIME to grow into a Full heavyweight Naturally but that Reach will be a Concern at Heavy. I think he has a 76' Reach compared to AJ who I think is 82' and Wilder has a 83'
Them moving up makes the Division Stronger, Division is a bit thin in talent so they're need
With the cruiserweight limit now at 200 pounds some cruiserweights probably weigh 220 on fight night. A lean 220 pound boxer is plenty big enough to rule the heavyweights if they have the skills. World heavyweight champions who weighed 220 or less in their prime include Foreman, Tyson, Louis, Lewis, Liston, Ali, Holmes and probably some other good ones.
I think usyk is talented enough to compete with the hws, I think breidis is smarter and uses more craft then most heavyweights, think gassiev has the power and ability to keep up a pace most guys at heavyweight wouldn't be able to maintain. These guys have different things they rely on and if fight smart and to their strengths i can see a lot of the top cruiserweights give heavyweights problems.
I always tgought Steve was considered top 5 around 10 years ago.
i think he was probably the best or top 1-2 cruiserweights in eh world, but again, the division is garbage and the guy was a dead average fighter. did nothing well, he was just average. average boxing skills. average or less power. and yeah, wiht those skills he was one of the best CW on the planet for a numebr of years. even beat marco huck, who we talked about earlier as having done quite well against povetkin.
fury is going to have a hard time getting through a training camp, drug test, etc.
also, how about his fight with steve cunningham? ended on what a lot of people would consider an illegal punch, and steve, a modest puncher even at CW put him down hard on his back!
i like steve cunningham, but the guy was dead average. not a special CW by any stretch, not a puncher, just another 200 lb dude who boxed.

I know Gassiev beat Dorticos BUT given Dorticos' power and Wilder's defense, I'd give Dorticos a shot at defeating Wilder with one punch. Truly a fight of who lands first.
If Usyk had a little more pop, I'd give him an outside chance at wearing Joshua down and finishing him late. Since he doesn't I think Joshua (with no real fear of return fire) would just walk him down and finish him early.
I should replace Pov with Fury, but Fury may not fight again. Huck used to be one of the best 5-6 years ago at cw. Good point I do see Usyk putting up a good close fight with Povetkin and probably winning. Povetkin os not as bad as people say, he has legit wins peds aside

Povetkin hardly made it by marco huck!

he was a 200 lb amateur in his mid 20's in the olympics! the problem with the current CW is not size! joe louis was about 200-205 lbs. almost identical in reach and height to a guy who knocked wladimir klitschko into next week named lamon brewster. if brewster was in louis' level of 15 round shape he'd be about 215 lbs in his prime. maybe less. they're basically the same size.
you trying to tell me lamon brewster is bigger than louis, who is of nearly idential height, reach, and weight? or just that lamon brewster is much better :lol1:?
