why do boxers fight a bunch of cans and have ridiculous records?
What is the point of that? wouldn't the sport draw more interest if it wasn't filled with can 95% can crushing?
Who is that? What happened to that guy?
probably nothing. wilde rhad been boxing for 2-3 years at athat point. this looks like international amateur competition. that guy was probably a gronw man, had a stipend from his government to train and fight, and had been boxing for several times as long as wilder.
wilder was a basketball and football prospect until he had a child with disabilities. he gave up on the idea of going division 1 and turned to boxing because people offere dhim money. it's a pretty well documented story. he didn't start boxing until he was 19 or 20. he won the olympic trials with 21 fights...
this means absolutely nothing about wilder's ability, or the abilityof his opponent. a guy with 20 fights is supposed to lose to a guy with international amateur experience.
There was footage apparently, but Al Haymon got it scrubbed off the internet.
Didn't someone say they were buying the Wilder-Sconiers fight from ebay?
That is a dyck move towards fans to remove archive footage of Wilder career!
It would be funnier if you can find video of Wilder getting drop as a pro, must be some hilarious shyt :D

Not if you use ACTUAL scoring criteria ....
Dont be mad that competition was WEAK when Wilder also got knocked around the year he won BRONZE ....Bro are you mad ?:yeah:
What is the criteria? The home guy win, don't matter how hard he got outboxed and outpointed? If so ok, doesn't make him a better fighter anyway
October 2005 I start boxing as amateur.
2007 won the Golden Gloves and U.S. Championships.
2008 took home a bronze medal from the Olympic Games.
Damn, who else done it like that. I must be the most gifted of all times.
