I was just joking about calling him wee-bey because Reggie was a b-more hitman and I love the show, but you’re right. There’s a ton of real life counterparts and also characters just named after real criminals. Even small lines like “someone in ghost kane’s crew laughed at his shoes” (when someone got murdered in hamsterdam) referred to a real life Baltimore criminal.

I think op just called him that cuz gross was an enforcer for a west Baltimore drug crew and was convicted of 3 murders and got 2 life sentences.
