Let's not act like Lennox Lewis also wasn't an excessive clincher.
True. It's why for the most part I didn't enjoy Lewis but Wladimir became unwatchable for me. Like Andre Ward almost.
We haven't had this one for a long time - brings back old memories.
That being said, I see it as 50:50. Wlad form 2012 with the mindset he had in AJ fight is a very difficult man to beat. Lennox from Golota fight is a beast.
Lennox, is, of course, the better boxer than AJ, but I am not sure he gets up from that KD (in the AJ fight). Lennox doesn't go down too often, but when he goes down he tends to stay down.
On the other hand, Wlad probably wouldn't have jab advantage he usually has, so I can see Lennox outboxing him.
Lewis but not easy as people make it out to be. Both were ugly fighters for the most part, pawing with their jabs, although Lewis could throw a more commanding jab at times, whereas Wlad can't. These guys both love to hold and jump back when the opponent throws.
It would be a messy, ugly fight but Lewis quality probably shines through in the end and gives him the edge. Maybe a late stoppage even.
Lewis. It could be ugly with Wlad clinching so much but Lewis is strong enough to not get bullied and he'd land a right hand and follow through.
Let's not act like Lennox Lewis also wasn't an excessive clincher.
Explain???????
I think the fact that prime lennox would ****ing demolish both wilder and joshua might have something to do with it.
There is no conceivable way that you could look at either of them and have them win against prime lennox lewis.. there just isnt.
Wlad was the better technical fighter but Lewis had too many tools and power. Lewis by stoppage imo. Only Wilder and Joshua would be able to beat a guy like Lewis
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣So much is wrong with this statement
Wlad was the better technical fighter but Lewis had too many tools and power. Lewis by stoppage imo. Only Wilder and Joshua would be able to beat a guy like Lewis
I like Wlad but IMO he wasn't the guy with the strongest will or biggest heart, of course he trained extremely hard and needed a tough mentality to be that good, but IMO Lewis breaks him, when Lennox was fighting his best opponents he always beat them hard and he was ready to brawl or box.
