Is it time for boxing to change some rules?

I would not mind having one more round in boxing. Having stricter penalties for clinching would also go a long way towards getting more people watching the sport.

Could add a 2 min break after round 6 instead of timeout.

5 judges I have always said but 2 of the 5 have to watch the fight on a closed circuit t.v., no sound, no 1 in the room to sway their judgement. Also judges should be subject to polygraph testing when fight purses are over a certain amount of $.

The nfl changed rules to add scoring and less injuries , basketball changed rules for more Scoring and less defense . Should boxing add timeouts ? Imagine your fighternis badly hurt and you can just call a timeout or use the 1 min break and then call timeout when the next round is gonna start Basketball.strategically uses timeouts to kill runs or momentum . Football uses timeouts to re-think a play or to ice the kicker or stop the clock. Boxing could add a 3 timeouts per corner per 12 round fight. Boxing has no scoreboard and no timeouts and boxing network channel along with no superbowl . Is it time to change things about boxing. Maybe 5 judges instead of three . Or maybe a scoreboard for home viewers . What rule or thing you **** to change about boxing when it comes to fights , rules or viewer experience? No timeout rule. Just eliminate some weight classes and eliminate some titles. This will help more than anything.

The timeout idea is rubbish obviously, it would kill all the drama, so it definitely wouldn't be beneficial for the sport. 13th round could be a good idea, imagine there's a draw, and whoever wins that round would be a winner. That would be very exciting to see. I believe after any draw another round should be fought.
