He looked awful last night and the fight was trash. If fury even resemble something like he did before he wouldn't even touch fury. Wilder looks like hot garbage. HW boxing is terrible still.
Not sure how people thought you hat was a great fight. First 5 rounds Wilder refuse to throw anything and they were just arm slapping each other.
Watch replay without volume and see the number of punch out put or technique or anything that resemble skills in that boxing match. Wilder threw something like 57 punch after the 5th round! That's terrible boxing.
Not an alt buddy nor did I bet that match. I thought Ortiz would win cause Wilder is so basic I wouldn't even give him a c grade as a boxer. I was wrong but not like I care if I'm wrong.
I don't hate on boxers nor am I a rooting interest in any boxer. I just call it how I see it.
You watch without volume too. AJ-Wlad the punch stats after 11 rounds were 107/355 for AJ and 94/256 for Wlad. Wilder-Ortiz ended in the 10th round (1 round earlier) and was 98/346 and 87/363. These are comparable numbers to me.
This is what happens when two elite fighters are in a match. You cannot just be throwing stupid punches or else the match ends quickly.
The Fury of 3 years ago or the Fury
who hasn't fought since, rehabbed for coccaine, ballooned to over 100 lbs over his best fight weight ?
The Fury who fought Klitchko I would say has a good chance but that 2015 form is not coming back the way he abused his body since.
I think if BJ's can get blown overweight and was out of boxing for a couple of years anyone can do it. Fury still young and after a few fights muscle memory would kick in I would think.
That fury that fought wlad I just don't see Wilder being able to lay a hand on him. He barely hit stationary Ortiz.
Fury, on his game, makes everyone at HW look stupid. My concern for him is, is he on his game again? And Can he reach that level?
But yea I'm getting into fantasy fight bs, which I hate, but I think 2015 Fury beats all these mfers so in theory if 2018 Fury can get back on the path 2015 Fury was on yea he does the same now.
As Kellerman likes to say, that version of Fury would correctly be favored to beat anybody in the HW division. I just think we lost that guy for whatever reason, which is sad cause kid was motivated and could box.
Fury wouldn't lose a second against that scrub. He'd be mocking the shit out of him as he coasted round after round.
And forget this Game-Changing Power - Fury wouldn't let this Amateur have the chance.
Estrada rung fight. I generally don't like watching tiny guys fight but that was entertaining. Nor do I like HW fights because the lack of skill but watch last night because the hype around it.
Didn't see that one. I don't watch HW's much either, but I was entertained.
To answer your initial post, I think Fury will mash Wilder.
I don't need to turn the volume down, I've seen thousands of fights. Wilder isn't a high volume puncher anyway so what's the beef?
It was a good scrap, I was on the edge of my seat. I wanted Ortiz to win too and I'm not mad that he didn't. Wilder did really good, much better than I thought.
What was the last fight that made you happy? Curious!

The Fury that beat Wlad would be favored to defeat Ortiz, AJ, Wilder, ect.. I think we've lost that guy though which is a shame because the kid was flashing some great skills.
If Fury ever gets back to what he was, he is probably the most talented HW and can beat them all.
I actually think Fury would make Joshua look basic. I think Wilder has a better chance against Fury because Wilder himself is unorthodox and finds a home for the right hand which seemingly nobody can take.
I'd lean towards Fury (at his best) but you really can never confidently pick against Wilder, he has the best equaliser in the game in my opinion.
I think Fury is the one top HW that could possibly stay away from Wilder's right hand for 12 rounds if he is very focused and smart.

no way fury comes back the same fury from the wlad fight. its one thing to be inactive.its another thing to be inactive and be the shape fury was in his time out the ring. he has to now work twice as hard to shake the rust and retune his body to what it once was. its gonna be extremely hard to do that.
-1 for being a bítch. I was rooting for Ortiz, but that was a good fight man. Why you hating alt? Lose bunch of cash on Wilder perhaps?

Fury would probably get Koed. Doesn’t have such a big size advantage against Wilder who has very long arms himself. He also doesn’t have the pop to keep him honest. I feel like if he was getting baldly outboxed he would just go for broke a throw windmills until he got him out of there. Unlike AJ he has the stamina to do that
