If you are a huge GGG fan, but criticize Wilder.. why? Let’s not act like GGG has fought killers at mw. I mean I think Malik Scott or Johann Duhappas is every bit as good as Martin Murray or Curtis Stevens. The big difference is that Deontay literally KOd every opponent he’s faced.
Quillin was not a great win, he was a shot fighter that hadn't made 160 in over 2 years, fighting at a 163lb catch weight the previous fight, not even against Andy Lee did he make weight.
Why do you think DJ was able to KO him so fast when he couldn't even KO 99% of the other guys on his resume that fast?
Martin Murray is a top 4 win on ggg's resume, that win was getting him on people's P4P lists along with Lemieux lmao. Go ahead, name ALL the better wins on ggg's resume than Lemieux/Murray, how many can you find, Jacobs, who else? And Murray-ggg went 11 rounds, it was one of ggg's more difficult fights.
ggg beats Murray/Lemieux: "OMG P4P fighter, fighter of the year"
BJS beats Lemieux-"okay win"
Abraham beats Murray-"doesn't count"
Haven't you learned how much you fan boys hype up ggg's resume already? BJS didn't just beat Lemieux he annihilated him, it was not competitive just like Eubank-Abraham was not competitive.
Wooden is irrelevant? Hell no, he was a southpaw just like Ortiz, except without his amateur experience, pro experience, without his power, he was nowhere near Ortiz' level.
Ortiz dominated Allen, no idea what your'e talking about
Moorer got KTFO by an obese 45 year old George Foreman lmao

You can't be obese in this era and win fights, you could however in the 90's/00's.
Eubank beat an Abraham who was truly shot. He had life and death with non world class Paul Smith, he had the rematch because the first fight was so close. And Eubank didn't put a dent in him. He's just had hes head boxed off, by a man he couldn't even touch when he had one arm. He's beaten no one. He's a national joke. Of course Golovkin beating Lemieux easily inside the distance beat Saunders beating an older Lemieux on points. If its such a great win why not years before when GGG did it? No logic. Now, Toney and Foreman may have been fat,but their best wins were much better than Jennings. They also didn't have a serious health problem. Although Jennings was nobody special and had no power, that was over two years ago. Since then Ortiz had deteriorated greatly. He failed a drug test and had acquired a serious illness. High blood pressure has damaging effects on health and stamina. He lumbered against Malik Scott. I saw him fight Allen, he laboured against a domestic fighter who trained himself at a leisure centre. Although Ortiz has no one on he's record of note, he wasnt the same man two years post Jennings. He wasnt just shot, he was ill. So I'm still waiting for that time Eubank knocked out a word class fighter. And the story of how Canelo is a welterweight.
You must be joking. I just named Quillin, who is better than any of Eubanks wins. Of course he's magically shot to suit your narrative, but Abraham, who actually was shot, and beat a Murray who destroyed years earlier, remains relevant in your mind. You should look at
then. Saunders is undefeated, but nearly lost to an unknown before he changed trainers. He admits he was in bad shape at thaf stage of he's career, and yet he still boxed Eubanks ears off. For thr first six rounds he barely threw a punch. He just got totally outclassed by Groves. Eubank didn't destroy a shot Abraham, he out boxed him. I'm waiting to hear about that knockout. He doesn't compare to Jacobs.Your the one saying Golovkin is behind Saunders btw, but Saunders only good wins are against GGG leftovers, and it took him longer to beat older versions of the same fighters. As for keep bringing up Wooden, it's irrelevant. It's on you to show Ortiz was this great fighter, but the record isn't there. He had Jennings and no one else. Ortiz was either a drug cheat or had high blood pressure by the time he fought Deontay. Either way he was finished. Imagine Moorer, a guy who beat Holyfield struggling with Dave Allen, a guy who's beat no one. Imagine Moorer, Byrd or Sanders struggling to get to grips with Malik Scott. Ortiz had one good win, over two years ago against a weak puncher. Ortiz would have been knocked spark out by Foreman, who at 46 still had better stamina than the current Ortiz, no failed drug tests and no high blood pressure. How's the career welterweight doing today?

You can't be obese in this era and win fights, you could however in the 90's/00's.
We have eyes and have enough sense to understand what constitutes to be good boxing. That being said, I end up rooting for Wilder in fights because he is still an underdog in big fights
There is a clear difference in a competitive fight like Eubank-BJS and a 1 sided affair in DJ-Pirog.
Even though Abraham was shot he was still capable of beating Martin Murray easily a top 4 win on ggg's entire resume. You can't name a single fighter Jacobs has beaten better than Abraham or as impressive as Eubank performed. Jacobs looked terrible vs Arias while Eubank destroyed Abraham at 168, no contest.
BJS is actually undefeated. A masterclass vs Lemieux, a guy that got ggg ranked on the P4P list, but when BJS does it, it doesn't count, it's not as good a win over a guy like Mora.
A southpaw like Jeff Wooden, his entire pro career 5 years, was thriving in the 90s giving what Rahman called his toughest fight of his career to that point. Many felt he got robbed vs Tua of all people, he also pushed Byrd to his limit.
This is a part time boxer we're talking about, you're telling me he's anywhere near on Ortiz' level? Ortiz is actually undefeated, he's been boxing for what 20-30 years, and has dominated every single opponent in front of him.
What about James Toney, what'd the response be if Ortiz drew with James Toney or got schooled like Sam Peter did? In what reality can a modern day super heavy contender draw with an obese, brain damaged, blown up 160lber?
Moorer was a blown up LHW, he's nowhere near as powerful as Ortiz, durable, none of it. Again I ask you, what would the response be if Ortiz lost to an obese, out of retirement Foreman?

Of course he's magically shot to suit your narrative, but Abraham, who actually was shot, and beat a Murray who destroyed years earlier, remains relevant in your mind. You should look at Abraham in the Paul Smith fight and tell me he wasnt shot by then. Saunders is undefeated, but nearly lost to an unknown before he changed trainers. He admits he was in bad shape at thaf stage of he's career, and yet he still boxed Eubanks ears off. For thr first six rounds he barely threw a punch. He just got totally outclassed by Groves. Jacobs was the worlds number two middle, with a loss to a man who may well have been number one if injuries hadn't forced he's retirement. As for Eubank, he lost clearly to Saunders, he's late rush was largely innacurate. He never beat a top fighter. Chudinov wasn't a top ten fighter, Abraham was completely shot and Quilan a novice with a world title recognised by no one. Eubank doesn't have a win compared to Quillan, and he was just embarrassed by Groves. I asked you who Eubank had knocked out in comparison to Quillan. The answer is no one. You mentioned that you see BJS as middleweight number two. Why? As a result of a points win over a man Golovkin stopped in 5 or another man who Golovkin stopped in 9? Saunders hasn't proven a thing. He struggled with a complete unknown, looked to have lost a few fights ago. This is the same guy who beat Eubank. Eubank would've been stopped by Pirog too. Sanders fought in both the Lewis and Klitschko eras, and lost a close one to a Rahman who went on to beat Lewis. He also smashed Wlad in two. Nothing Ortiz has done compares. You sight a win over Jennings as proof of Ortiz greatness and then say Sanders fought in a weak era and Wlad would've been a gatekeeper. Ortiz the great with a win over Jennings, a guy whos claim to fame is losing against Wlad the gatekeeper. What about the drugs? What about Moorer? What about the blood pressure? What about Canelo being a career welterweight? Haha.

Ward jumped into the Super 6 at a mere 25 years of age, ggg was still fighting Ouma by age 30 LOL. He didn't want to fight out of America and rightfully so, they would've robbed him. His headbutts played no factor in his wins, he dismantled opponents by out boxing them.
Interviewer:
Golovkin what do you say to Andre Ward who says you're ducking him?
Golovkin: *shakes head* "Eh Andre Ward is eh too mush for me eh"
Golovkin "Everyone from 160 to 168!"
5 Years later he's fought a former cancer patient KO'd cold, a 147lber, and a career JMW.
Meanwhile Ward moved up and took on the boogeyman, Kovalev and dismantled a champion in Barrera.
Reality

Yeah, because no robberies ever happen inside USA, right?
NO ROBBERIES HAS EVER HAPPENED IN USA.
No, what he means by "too much" means that Ward is too much, ie. full of it, a joker, not serious, not in the sense that Ward would destroy him. Look at the body language and how GGG responds. It is quite fúcking clear what he meant.
http://www.thesaurus.com/browse/a%20bit%20much
A bit much, or too much.
It means he tells CoWard that he is full of shít.
Ward lost the first fight to Kovalev.
Barrera was never a champion, lol. Do you even know boxing? So he beat a 34 year old non-champion, and I am supposed to be impressed?
A guy who's most 2nd worthwhile win was against a 38 year old, who hadn't a proper win since an MD against Otis Griffin 6 years prior.
-ggg was 30 years old struggling with a career JMW in Ouma, not even top 20 in the division.
-Spence was 27 struggling with a natural 147lber and top 3 in his division, Brook. See the difference?
-It ain't redness, it's bruising, Alvarez marked up his face just as did Brook in the mere 4 rounds he fought him in. How TF do you take this much facial damage in 4 rounds vs a guy moving up 2 weight classes? Spence took nowhere near this damage
https://photo.boxingscene.com/uploads/golovkin-brook-fight%20(103).jpg
Unlike Barrera Ouma was actually a champion.
And Ouma spent 6 months in hospital after the "CLOSE" fight:
He was severely punched that ringside physician Jeff Davidson had to critically examine the Ugandan in the seventh, eighth and 10th rounds, moments before he was knocked out.
Davidson ordered a neurological examination on Ouma after Golovkin had been declared winner of the WBA middleweight championship title and the results showed he had been injured.
“I have to follow doctors’ orders and maybe return next year,” Ouma, a former child soldier, revealed. Prior to last Friday, Ouma had never won a fight at middleweight category and his comprehensive defeat was not surprising to his former coach Musa Kent.
The same Ouma that troubled Jermain Taylor.
Yes, Spence was in his prime and struggled.
Maybe, just maybe GGG's face swells easily? There is a lot of redness in his face after the Lemieux bout.
GGG is not a spring chicken anymore.
So in summary:
Ward fought a no-champion.
GGG fought a champion.
You are full of shít.
Ward is a coward.
Quillin was a shot fighter by the time he fought Jacobs, he fought at a catch weigh of 163 vs Zerafa re-hydrating all the way to 180lbs on fight night. Vs. Lee he also missed the 160lb limit, Quillin hadn't made 160 in over 2 years and that Lee fight took all he had left. That's Jacob's signature win, a shot fighter after that you're looking at a JMW like Mora as his 2nd best win.
Eubank-BJS was a close competitive fight, he never lost in the fashion that DJ did to Pirog getting dropped then KO'd.
Eubank beat Chudinov, Akavov, outclassed Abraham (who Murray couldn't out box), Quinlan, and actual super middles.
Sanders fought in an extremely weak era, he racked up losses to Rahman, Tubbs, and others. Wlad would've been a gate keeper in this current era.
It's like I said to another poster, Jeff Wooden was a 6'3 215lb southpaw in the 90's with a 42% KO ratio. During that time he took Byrd, Grant, Tua, Rahman, Maskaev all to their limits. This is a journeyman we're talking about, probably a part time fighter, compared to Ortiz he is nothing but he was able to give some of the top dogs in that era all they could handle. Ortiz would've utterly dominated that era.

Because then he would get suspended permanently for endangering lives with his wild headbutts. See that shít against Kessler?
He should be in jail.
Remember when he tried to sue a cancer patient, but lost? 3 times. Every time he got laughed out of court.
Every time. They rejected it immediately.
"Kendig ruled that Ward had not stated "any basis upon which to invalidate the contract" and the case was dismissed."
The only one that has ever said a no faster was when HBO asked Ward to fight GGG.
Beating the speed record in saying no the fastest is why Ward can call himself No #1

Jacobs knocked out Quillin in a round. Who did Eubank knock out?Hes never beat a top ten fighter. BJS boxed Eubanks ears off despite gassing. BJS has a good win over a Golovkin leftover and that's it. Went to the wire with Andy Lee. I respect you have a different opinion but don't make yourself look silly by calling Canelo a career welterweight. That's just ridiculous. ggg barely scraped by Jacobs, a man no better than Eubank Jr. who also was on a KO streak, but unlike DJ he never got brutally KO'd, instead just a close decision loss to the REAL #2 guy in the division BJS.
He's coming off a draw where his face got brutalized by a career welterweight. Face it, his claim to fame is a razor thin decision to Daniel Jacobs.

I am a fan of them both but I like Deontay Wilder better. In my opinion, he is the more mesmerizing and exhilarating of the two fighters two watch because of his unpredictable punching power.
What sets him apart from the rest of the pack is no matter how many points he is down or how badly he is being out boxed or no matter how badly he is taking an ass whipping, like he did on Saturday night, all it takes is just one swing to finish the job and then the fights over.
With his power he could never be counted out of a fight. To me is the most exciting heavyweight puncher since Mike Tyson.
"He's coming off a draw where his face got brutalized by a career welterweight." What a complete ****ing moron. A career welterweight who fought at that weight when he was 15-20 years old and hasn't fought there in almost 8 years. Stop posting you ****ing spastic twat.
GGG was actually ahead on all scorecards in the Ouma fight before knocking him out.
Brook was not ahead on all judge cards in his GGG fight. Two were draw and one were one point up on him.
Canelo didn't bust up his face, stop lying.
Jacobs was not out cold against Pirog.
Brook's close fight with Porter, that he won. Is that a bad thing?

Retained he's title against the biggest star in boxing, winning the fight in the eyes of the consensus, training for the rematch I believe. Not as impressive as having life and death with a man who'd never beaten a top five fighter in he's own division? Not as impressive as being behind and nearly stopped against an old man with high blood pressure whos failed more than one drug test? 🤔
ggg barely scraped by Jacobs, a man no better than Eubank Jr. who also was on a KO streak, but unlike DJ he never got brutally KO'd, instead just a close decision loss to the REAL #2 guy in the division BJS.
He's coming off a draw where his face got brutalized by a career welterweight. Face it, his claim to fame is a razor thin decision to Daniel Jacobs.
Ortiz beat Jennings who at the time was a top 5 fighter and DOMINATED him and everyone he's fought, Ortiz is the best southpaw in HW history.
