AJ ducked and avoided this 5000 year old Cuban with no shame.
we all saw why.
Ortiz is more polished and fundamentally sound than both AJ and Wilder.
but only Wilder had the heart to test himself.
I still think Ortiz is better than Wilder on skills alone. but Wilder's right hand is an RPG.
Ortiz is wayyyy more skilled and polished than Klinchko. not even a debate. mofos want to make Wlad sound like this master boxer just to boost up AJ. Wlad's whole reign at the top was a stink bomb. he never showed half the technique and skills of Ortiz.
I don't give a damn how old Ortiz is. these are FACTS
AJ shamelessly DUCKED him as a MANDATORY.
Wilder had EVERY excuse in the book to not take this fight. he took it strictly for the fans.
Wilder is the best HW in the game. period. flaws and all.

I'd still like to see AJ vs Ortiz before Ortiz gets any older (if no Wilder).
I think Ortiz beats him.
Ortiz will probably get a bounce-back against Takam or something.
Wilder vs. Whyte/Browne winner
And assuming he beats Parker, Joshua vs. Povetkin/Price wiinner
Assuming Wilder and AJ make it out of these fights unscathed, I think we'll get the fight late this year, or early next year.
Agreed, Ortiz would've likely stopped AJ who comes in too linear and leaves his body open too!
Ortiz would've controlled things with a superior jab and counters over the top and body!
It would've been a really good fight but hopefully it can stipl happen down the line!
