He was more legit than anybody that he had faced
Erm no, Porter, Senchenko and Jackiewicz were better fighters.
But the point stands. Brook wouldn't go after a fighter no one was calling for if he was scared. That makes no sense.
And if they had of fought, Brook would have slapped him silly. Chaves was made for Brook and had **** defence.
Why would he waste his time going after Chaves if it was all bull****? It's not like anybody was calling for the fight. So yeah, the only one spouting bull**** is you.
He was more legit than anybody that he had faced
Every boxer who enters the ring is a warrior. Brook just isn't a warrior who gives me confidence in him when he goes against a really good fighter. He will always beat the mediocre boxers like the guy he is fighting next.
Exactly. Simply that...
BS, that injury nonsense was to get out of the fight. Brook has a history of promoting himself with the next most popular boxer.

You're ****ing boring me now...
Chaves fight didn't happen because Kell got injured. They tried to redo the fight but the IBF had already set a date for his next mandatory so there wouldn't have been enough time in between fights for that to work. Had he have fought Chaves, there would have been less than 3 months before he was due back in the ring. Nothing they could do.
Brook was looking for a big fight/unification because he was sick and tired of fighting just mandatories. No one would fight other than Vargas, so they went in that direction. They made a big offer but it was denied by Vargas. He asked for more money even though his own team said it was a very generous offer.
Brook and Hearn were bent over a barrel because they wanted a big fight but had no where to go. The fans were calling for him to fight the best so they were in a bit of a pickle. In order to fight Vargas Brook would have had to take a big pay cut and would have made considerably less than Vargas even though he was the clear A side. However, GGG was meant to fight Eubank but pulled out so Hearn had him there for a date in the UK. Instead of paying that ***** Vargas over the odds and Hearn losing money on the event, he asked Kell if he wanted to fight GGG instead for a big pay day. Brook agreed and took the fight. The rest is history.
The offer to Vargas was over double his biggest pay day. For him to deny that offer and ask for more shows you that he really didn't want the fight unless he got a retirement cheque. Brook was most certainly not the one who ****ed that up. Blame Vargas for asking for too much money.

Before he didn't have mando. After Porter he was scheduled to fight Chaves and didn't happen. They negotiated for Vargas, didn't happened. But any low level fighter got done right away.

Brook couldn't get in the mix because nobody was willing to unify, so he had to fight his mandatories or be stripped of the title. Spence is going through the same problems now, so what have you got to say for that? I'm sure you won't throw the same comments towards Spence as many Americans kept throwing at Brook.

Now you just made up that I wanted the American to do this and that. Wrong, when Manny and Floyd where the top guys I kept on saying when is Brook gonna get in the mix. He consistently fought low level opposition.
I mention that he did beat Porter and it was a MD. Now you are putting words in my mouth that I am favoring the American.
If AJ and Wilder ever fight I favor AJ because of his skills.

Brook beat Porter 9 rounds to 3 on my card. Nothing close about that fight. Porter was ineffective because Brook is just a superior boxer.
Oh, and Brook tied him up in close because Porter kept overthrowing his shots and coming in with his head. What Brook did was smart.
I said Brook had it easy in the first half when he had juice in the tank. After the first half, the weight drain was going to come into it. That's why I picked Spence to win.
Fighters say a lot of things that aren't true. I mean, how many fighters have you heard say they felt like **** and had no chance of winning the fight? Exactly.
Spence's punches did play a part, but it most certainly isn't the whole story. You just want the American to have all this praise heaped upon him without looking at the clear advantages he had in the fight. If Brook was American, i'm sure you'd change your tune sharpish.

He did beat Porter by a round and he clinched an average of 14 times per round.
Also he didn't have it easy against Spence. He was getting worked and broken down as the fight went.
All I here is excuses, when he said himself that he was in great shape for the Spence fight and not this BS.
I guess Spence's punches had nothing to do with his lost.

He's ok in my book. There's guys out here who didn't want to fight GGG or Spence, Brook fought them both. One above his weight division, and the other coming of a bad injury.
That is the one thing that I give him, despite his previous opponents he did step it up against two feared fighters. Spence was still questionable at the time but proved he is the real thing.
I will not take that away from Brook.
Well he didn't lose when he stepped up to Porter.
If he hadn't of gone up in weight and drained himself by coming back down, he would have beat Spence as well.
Spence only won 1 round of the first 6 on my card. Brook was having it pretty easy in there. But when he went into the later stages, he just didn't have enough juice left in the tank. So Spence was lucky. Also the eye injury played a massive part as well.

LMFAO!! O...K
😂😂😂 Says it all.
He’s a quitter. Who’s fought 3 good fighters in his career, won a very close decision vs Porter that could’ve went the other way. Then lost convincingly to both GGG and Spence.
Basically that sums it up. He is an above average fighter that will lose every time he steps up

I'm laughing my balls off at these comments. You can tell which ones are the groupies in here. A man with 35 bums on his record which they all ignore.
One debatable decision that deserved a rematch with Porter but Porter was mysteriously removed from the IBF entirely. One cash grab everyone knew he was going to lose and he was the only one who thought he had a chance because he knows how high up the weights he walks around. Outweighed GGG at every stage. About to die, hands slumped by his sides completely, kept looking to his corner... basically asked for his corner to QUIT for him before he dies.
Then the first time time he fights a legitimate opponent that can can actually box and is just as big as him he takes the knee and QUITS like a bìtch. His entire team were in tears because the whole stadium booed him out to the chants of "QUITTER".
Let's get it clear. He HAD to take that fight. Where else was he going to go? Duck, lose all relevance with no belt and go up a weight to fight who? Rabchenko? The sparring partner he just handpicked himself? LMFAO! O...K.
You're one of those muslim posters under a new name aren't you?
Khan running from Brook for years has really messed your head up. Give it up you loon, it's creepy the extremes you'll go to.

The floyd/manny thing brought so many clueless new guys into boxing that for a while it became impossible to discuss welterweights in any serious way
It was the only division they knew of and if anyone there got a name win he became the new P4P king.
Kell was one of the worst examples... He went from total unknown to "fighter of the decade p4p welter king heir to the throne of mannyfloyd" in one or two "okay" wins
You could tell even the guys going gaga over him didn't even know why and just wanted to have a horse in the race
