Imo Zurdo is a cut above them all I hope he fights the winner. I've been saying it for the longest time he's the real deal.
Him v Groves would be a good fight if Groves wins the tournament.
Even in his losses, Groves has shown he can really mix it at a very high level. So if we wins the WBSS, i think him v Ramirez would be a very well anticipated fight.
I think Groves is far better than anyone Ramirez has fought, so it would be a real test.
I think I still give him the edge over Groves but it just got that much more interesting.
Neikhy continually countered his jab which he doesn't double up on or mix up so I am expecting Groves too with greater success. The guy hardly ever even jabbed his way in the odd time he did he couldn't miss and was snapping Smiths head back like a Pes dispenser. No disrespect to Neikhy he's a tough guy, very fit but he shouldn't of been giving a guy with Smiths physical attributes and experience such a tough time especially with no notice.
Very tough fight to call I think they both have major flaws they wouldn't get away with at a true world level.

I think he took too long to kick on from those wins. He should have really stepped up then but the next 3 fights after that were against relatively low level opponents.
I don't actually think he's that good anyway but i do think his progress has stalled taking too many easy keep busy fightss. It showed a bit v Skoglund and i think Groves will be a level above.
This is a pretty good observation, I agree with this
Callum doesn't seem to be the guy I thought he was coming off the Fielding and Mouhamadi fights. He looks like he hasn't gotten any better since then. I have a hard time seeing him beat a healthy Groves. His size will keep him relevant at world level for as long as he stays at SMW, but if/when he goes to 175, he's in trouble

There's Liam, Callum and who?
stephen smith. the guy that pedraza went life and death with. what a great win for tank...lol. pedraza also lost to edner cherry. what a resume.
Idk but they all have autism I think. The little one is missing an ear.
Lol their little sister has autism, and yea Stephens ear got ripped apart in his last fight
Following in the footsteps of Benevidez really
They could fight each other, and neither would have any good wins still
Good point, I still think Callum Smith is better than the likes of someone like Benavidez who has struggled against a guy who is by all means not that good.
He is a good boxer. He just doesn't seem to have that change of gear that top fighters have.
Maybe that consistency, size, length, and good fundamentals still get him to a world title though?
He's looked increasingly workmanlike with his size being the most remarkable thing about him.
I dunno, George Groves is the acid test for him. George is more explosive and carries more power and a heavier jab but there is something about Smith that makes me not want to count him out.
He's just quite metronomic and has a good attitude about him. That kind of size, consistency, gas tank, and just the volume is likely to cause Groves issues.
Will still pick Groves but I reckon it will be tight on the cards.
I haven't even seen Callum Smith versus any top guy yet.

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if over time, they were all shown to be on similar level, good contender but not quite elite. Callum Smith looks skilled, but he can be crowded and has limited power at the weight. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he gets beaten soon. Someone who makes a point to pound the body and get inside will cause Callum fits.
Time will tell.
