why on earth hearn wants to joshua to fight miller next in BK?
i thought that wilder/joshua for sure was going to happen in teh UK because of all the seats(even though weve explained to you cervix scrapers that more seats doesnt equate to higher gate)....
is hearn wanting to fight in BK and the barclays out of charity and the goodness of his heart?
why isnt he talking about wilder next? lemme guess ...its cause wilder isnt "reasonable" right? or wilder wants 50 percent right? rightttttttttttttt LOL
hearns fighter/side will take the larger share....isnt he the more respected and known fighter?
thats exactly why its on hearn.....anyone with any sense know its up to hearn to get things started.......doesnt joshua hold more belts?
all of the things you have stated, to slight wilder, are exactly the reasons its on hearn
and in case you havent noticed...hearn hasnt made any offers and is already talking about a BK fight with miller...not wilder....but of course hearn would drop lines about wilder not being happy with 10 mil or being "unreasonable".....yet he never made wilder any offer
So Hearn should make the offer because AJ is the draw, not Wilder ... and the fight should be in Vegas, not London because ... ?
Oh yeah .. because of the Canelo/Chavez Jr gate ... brilliant!
canelo/chavez did better gate than both of AJs last two fights....thats why it will be vegas...the US ppv money will bring more...
the fight will do ok in america if they build it a bit more...it will be hyped up here and people will buy into it having a hope of bringing back the HW division
joshua tries to put a stop to it happening in vegas then you will know hes ducking
LMAO! Are you seriously suggesting that the Canelo vs JCC Jr gate is a good indicator of how much AJ vs Wilder would would draw in Vegas?
Ward/Kovalev would be a much better example to pick on. If you add the gate money for both their Las Vegas fights together it would be less than AJ/Wlad made at Wembley.
i dont think 50/50 is fair and i dont know any reasonable person who think it should be that
but wilder can say whatever he wants...its up to hearn to come to the table with a fair and reasonable offer.....if wilder is willing to take 30-35 pecent why is he going to say that off the bat when maybe he can get 35-40?
wilder saying that stuff means nothing ...he knows its hearn thats going to have to put this together and come with the financials....until hearn is serious and ready to do that wilder can say he wants 60 percent or that hes the AAA-side and he wants to fight at the dunkin donuts center in providence...it dont matter till hearn acts
I guess I'm just confused as to why the British promoter has to make the fight in America and do all the legwork. He could and perhaps is within his rights to just say "**** it, I know I can make Wembley work". If Joshua wants that he loses money but he'll still make north of $20m and then Wilder just has to accept what's given to him.
That's all true, but I always hear how 50/50 is a fair split that Wilder is bigger and everything else. Wilder says he's the A side, so act like it. Get the guarantees and come back with an offer don't scream that you're the A side, the one with the recognition whilst holding a cup in your hand wanting a 50/50 with a dude that makes 20x the purse you do.

I believe the fight should and will be in Vegas and that they will likely settle on 60/40 though 75/25 should be the split but I don't care. I'm fairly certain both sides have already discussed and are happy with a certain date and all the talk is to build the event.
Why is it on Hearn to do it? If Wilder isn't happy with the terms maybe his team can get a higher guarantee and then present it?
Hopefully it happens and I'm sure if both keep winning it will probably early next year but I have my concerns over Wilder.

Vegas for obvious reasons. London makes more sense than New York but Vegas most of all as it usually always does. Better tax breaks, gambling, higher influx of tourism, smaller site fee. The arena (assuming T-Mobile) would be able to sit 18,000 and I'd say 15,000 minimum will be from the U.K.
Joshua is the champ, he'll have three belts and is clearly the more respected boxer with a following. Joshua could just be firm and say Wembley or nothing. Wilder is crazy if he lets the fight not happen over purse demands (not budging on 50/50). Sometimes you gotta go to the champs backyard to get what you want. They ain't paying peanuts in the U.K. Joshua made something crazy like $40m his last two fights and is making around $20m next month. His opponents making around $10m. Wilder is yet to beat $1.2m.
I do think it will happen over here but from a promotional standpoint they probably feel the need to expose Joshua to the US market and pilot to see how many Brits travel out. Not a fan of marination myself and I think Wilder is crap and could lose anytime so I'd rather they just do it now.
I'm wondering dosen't Jarell Miller have a contract with HBO.And Joshua's fight against Parker is the last one that can be matched by Showtime in Bidding wars.So is Joshua v Miller going to be on HBO as part of 'Matchroom Boxing USA'.How will Wilder v Joshua happen then ?
chris...ur are talking nonsense right now
no one is claiming a duck....but if joshua and hearn refuse to negotiate a fight in vegas you will know they are ducking
wilder isnt making the offer....aj will take the higher percentage and will be the ones approaching wilders side to get a deal done.....its up to hearn to make the offer
and we wont know if wilder is going to "stick to 50 percent" until hearn actually gets down to it and tries to make a deal

People keep mentioning vegas but as it stands that isn't an option. No one in vegas has offered to stump the money up to make it happen there (yet). In my opinion eventually it will happen there, quite probably in 2019 - as part of a two match fight with wembley being the other.
Likewise if Wilder sticks to 50/50.
It will be Vegas that's about 90% or more certain. Too many folks claim ducking before anything has even happened.
Wilder is yet to make an offer considering he's the alleged money man with the promoter than can give more.

Wilder won't fight for an appropriate split - so until that changes the fight won't happen next in the U.K or otherwise. Miller is just one of several options Joshua has should he best Parker; hate, potvetkin , whyte , Miller are all quite possible alternatives.
more nonsense
hearn has yet to make an actual offer ....hearn has never made a formal offer or even tried.......you dont know what wilder would or wouldnt take until you get serious and actually sit down and put some financials on the table
hearn has yet to do that
It aint only the boxing why it happens there either. All lists say hes the most marketable sportsman on the planet, and he aint gunna do that by just fighting in the UK. He wants the massive endorsements he has to expand his reach.
exactly
its dont have to do with whos more respected or who has the better name on their resume or all of that other stuff chris is talking.......its financial

The bigger factor is probably that match room contract with Joshua is finishing this year (think it's two more fights including Parker) - I think there is a commitment to fight in America to Joshua. If Hearn wants to keep Joshua then they have to agre what is important to him and I don't think money is actually hay high up - that's more a factor for hearn

The fight happens where Joshua wants it. He's the A side. He's the only one of the two to have a following, the only one who's a unified champion, the only one with a respectable name on his resume and the more respected prize fighter. 50/50 is an unfair split for the guy bringing in the dough but if Wilder wants it then his promoter can surely raise the funds and Joshua's promoter raises the funds for his man? I think that's most fair.
I hope the fight happens in Vegas as I'd like to go to it but not travel too far but realistically it happens wherever Joshua wants it and I'm sure that will be in Vegas.
