CHRIS EUBANK JR has looked into the eyes of George Groves and claimed he has seen weakness. He believes he sees a man not willing to go as far as him to win when they meet in the highly-anticipated clash at Manchester Arena. "When I looked into his eyes I felt weakness and regret," he said. "He's there to be beaten. He's there to be dominated." Click Here To Read More]
This lil know nothing punk is angry that I said I can't wait til Eubîch jr gets bodied,& then I admitted that if he does somehow win I'll give him massive respect & admit I was dead wrong, but this dsab whos from Kuala Lumpur of all places (where most know **** all about boxing)is getting angry like I just f***ed his girl... Typical fanboi around here getting angry that I keep it real as it gets...:haha:
No that’s not why. And your pea-sized brain doesn’t get it. You’re just the worst type of fake ass boxing fan that exists on this planet.
FYI I’m not from Kuala Lumpur, but even if I was I’d still know 1000x more about boxing than you ever will.
Quebec is some sport of heaven for your "champs" there: they all get PPV fights... :)
Yep as soon as they make it to "championship level", they are off to PPV and usually stay PPV. After his loss to GGG (no shame in this) Lemieux was still PPV and he will still be PPV after BJS.
And Vegas was built of "What if's" My grandma used to always say she picked the winning horse the next day. And everytime she bet??? She lost.
betting at horse races is much much worse than at boxing... :)
Nice! We weren't so lucky here in Montreal, all his fights were PPV (even if they were on regular Showtime or HBO in the US)

I know man... I was just making fun of myself for being almost stupid enough to bet $100 on Rios. And then you reminded me pillow fists TKO'd him.
... sometimes when you see the odds you tell yourself "but what if, what if..."
Of course: I've watched all his fights on "local" TV... :)

MD slapped me upside my head and said whats wrong with you betting on Rios! NEVER go FULL RTARD again.
I didn't slap you anywhere... we only kill some time...
On paper Groves ought to win but I really hate to go against Breadman and he is very hot on Eubank Jr at the moment - He also seems to have a connection to the heavy hitting pro-bettors and the big money bets are a surer indication of what is probable compared to overall betting volume, as they often have inside knowledge - meaning we punters can only go on what we saw last few fights whereas they might have inside info from camps on injuries or bad relations inside camp or lax training regimes etc.
Does Groves even have a shot at beating him??? I'm thinking about putting $100 to win $2500 on Rios LOL! I'll probably lose but all you need is 1 great fight. He should know this is it for him if he loses.
Rule 1 on all betting / trading etc - only go for big odds.
Rule 2 - have an edge.
What is your edge? That you don't like Garcia?
I normally look for where I think I have spotted signs of shop-worn in the favorite (Chocolatito) or maybe unproven favorite (AJ?)(Eubank Jr.?) against an obdurate challenger = false assumptions.
Eubank is a young fighter, he was smart not to fight triple G, and he is ready at this point to step up. It never fails to amaze me how everyone becomes such an expert when it comes to determining when a fighter is ready to move up.
He obviously has talent, but he should have been brought along. When he lost his fight to Saunders it was a warning that he was not ready at that time to go forward yet. Groves is the perfect opponent for him at this point in his career. His natural ability and instincts are either there, or he needs to know where they are against an excellent fighter who is at the top of the mountain.
Eubank is ****y because he believes in himself, and I don't hold that against him. I used to think his dad was being a tool, or as our Brits put it.... a "Bellend", but when you learn what happened, his dad imo did right by his boy imo. There is tape of Chris, as a soft bellied youngun asking his dad to fight and his dad smiling and saying "fighting is not for you son."
This tells me that Chris had to prove to his dad that he really wanted this and was not pushed into it. So, while I am inclined to think Groves comes out on top, I am not putting this past Chris... I hope its a good fight and the better man wins.
Uggg! Dang! Ohh well you saved me $100. What the heck is wrong with this world when we get Mike Alvarado vs. Manny Pac and Rios vs. Garcia???
Both are HUGE -2500++ underdogs.
We all know that Manny is finished, and that Danny only needs an easy fight...

Groves?... We didn't speak about Groves here...
Rios?... I don't know... but Bradley KOed this guy!... Bradley!!!
I just want to see a Good/Great fight. But everyone seems to be taking Eubank betting wise.
So do we all, I just think Groves is too good for Eubank to make a fight of it, I think he gets stopped as soon as Groves lands his right.
My bad US! Should be a GREAT day of boxing. Don't know why but I like the Ortiz/Alander fight. Then this one followed up with Rios/Garcia. I'm PRAYING Rios has 1 fight still left in him and KO's Garcia.
Garcia is a very strong fighter... I don't like him (because he is only a mid range hooker and doesn't have any jab), but he surely wins tonight...
Can't wait til groves bodies this bum,I used to not hate eubîch jr but I am so tired of his mouth, hes done zero to back up any of his bs claims & imo is only at smw so he can have an excuse if he loses & will just say hes a true mw,he was shook of facing the best at mw but now since he has "its not my true weight" as a built in excuse,he suddenly grew some balls...
that being said if he wins legit then I'll admit hes faaar better than I thought & top 3 at smw,I will even admit hell likely beat most the p4p @ 160 if he pulls it off,but I highly doubt hell impress tonight
Groves is legit world class, he has proven that, so if you can beat Groves you are up there.....however up until now Eubank has avoided stepping up for whatever reason, while Groves stepped up and fought the best at a younger age than Eubank is now.
People forget that Eubank was interim WBA champ and Jacobs mandatory but vacated to step backwards and fight Blackwell at British level (and put him in a coma), he's a disgrace.
