THANK YOU FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR for introducing OST to boxing in 2010.
I propose that=%%) when comparing the resumes/achievements/legacy of past and present ATGs - it is important to distinguish between PED ERA (little to no drug testing -2010) or OST ERA (Olympic Style Testing +2010).
Olympic STYLE Testing.
But maybe I should have wrote ABP ERA instead of OST.
Let me be clear here - ABP testing is what I'm giving Floyd his rightful credit for.
Floyd used a WADA signatory (USADA) who is required to follow WADA protocols. In Floyds case, all of his samples were target tested AND followed ABP protocols.
With ABP, the more data collected the better it works. Floyd was tested close to 20 times for May Pac throughout training camp. Prior to that, USADA has accumulated ABP data on Floyd since 2010. That's a lot to work with.
For the record : WADA Athlete Biological Passport software is the best deterrent to date and WADA believes is the future of drug testing. ABP Rules allows for testing agencies to bring forth violations without actually detecting the banned substance.
Random 365 is great in theory. Problem I don't believe it is practical for high level athletes. Secondly, ADO's tend to rely on the "fear" rather than the "science".
VADA for example (doesn't do ABP) has fighters only getting tested once maybe twice a year. Then you have rules where athletes are allowed to have an "excuse" and avoid the test. Not nearly as EFFECTIVE as 100 ABP samples during training.
So yeah......THANK YOU FLOYD for making ABP MANDATORY for your fights and setting a precedence that Boxing can build on.year round isnt great in. It’s actyally very practical. Olympic athletes can be tested 24/7/365. There are agents throughout the world.
A fighter can use PEDs. Cycle off before training camp and not test positive and still have the gains from the prior ped use. It’s why a lot of fighters like to take long layoffs between fights. Cycling on and off.
Floyd started the movement of at least having testing camps which is better than nothing but a fighter with a smart team can easily beat those tests. Year round is a much more accurate system of testing.
These Mayweather worshipers always lie to themselves. They're assuming Froid's fake testing is implemented all the time. Pederson himself admitted not being tested in his come back fight after being exposed.
Chickenweather had the best PEDS ever created. Slow motion shows him slipping shots, countering, Adolf Hilter would’ve been proud how an African American athlete absorbed such benefits and took his brain, ring IQ to the next level like no other combat athlete before him. Not even the Greeks with their super opium ****tails to avoid fatigue is unparalleled
Deep rooted racism. Jessie Owen type hate right here.
Let me remind you.....
50-0 and beat everyone you said he couldn't.
Side note - did you enjoy Black Panther? Have you submitted your review yet?

When was floyd tested year round? Wtf are you talking about?
Right? Are we really saying that in over 200 years of boxing, there is just the PED era, and now this?
Also, problem with the time when PEDs were prevalent (late 80's to late 90's would be my guess) It's hard to really tell who was and who wasn't. Mike Tyson looked like an attack dog from age 13 until he retired, no real change to his body, then you have Evander Holyfield who gained 14lbs of muscle between the second and third Bowe matches.
Unfortunately that's what we have to deal with. Example : NBA makes a clear distinction between shot clock ERA when referencing ATG stats/records. Is what it is.
For boxing there needs to be a line drawn in the sand with PEDS. This is now the OST ERA. With that, ABP Is now being implemented and PED cheats are getting exposed.
Early biological passport testing literally redefined the sport of CYCLING where peds were the norm.
We are now witnessing OST and ABP testing redefine combat sports.
Floyd has never done OST drug testing ever. I get that this is a troll thread but Floyd only did drug testing in his training camps and not year round. To be OST you have to be available 24/7/365 and Floyd never did that. I know Nonito Donaire introduced that to the sport though.
Olympic STYLE Testing.

Nazi Soldiers were particularly on Meth and synthetic test in the WW2 which ended 1945
Do you think it took people 20 or more years to use it in boxing ? Come on !
99 of 100 Professional boxers Are on PEDs ! Get it ! Even your savior Floyd is a Big Time PED cheat
“I have tried drugs before, and then I realized it’s not good for the body. I accept it, I cannot deny it, that was before, and that’s I strongly support the president, that he fights illegal drugs,” he said. The drugs included methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, marijuana and cocaine. Pacquiao said he used them “for years” but it was when he was a teenager and before he “became a champion”.

METH is a banned PED AND Manny admitted he used it early on in his professional career on his way to becoming champion.

Yea another good question.
Idk the progression of the current Banned Substances List off the top of my head or how long its even been around. And I got problems with the current Banned Substance List so I imagine others might as well.
But I think a fair starting point is anything on the Banned Substance List should be considered a PED cuz otherwise you are arguing too much opinion bs with whats "really" a PED.
and therein lies another problem, what's considered a PED today could have been fine 2 years ago. Hell, I remember when you used to be able to legally buy Prohormones before people realized they were basically just oral steroids. Ditto ECA, Clen, etc.
Hell, Steverne got fined something like $75k for failing a test because he had a damn protein bar before his match, and there was a banned substance in a store bought protein bar. That's a little crazy to me.
Also, what year was the whole Panama Lewis "not that bottle, the one i mixed" fight? Once that was caught on live TV, I wouldn't be surprised if that's when the testing really got started.
Thats a legit question, troll thread or not. When does the PED era start? When did PEDs become a thing in boxing? I always think of that 1976 womens East German team that had mustaches & balls slipping out of their onesies they were so PED'd up as the beginning of the PED era in sports, but I'm not entirely sure thats correct & I'd assume boxing come later on.
Randomly who was the first guy legit busted for PEDs in boxing? Thats a goddamn trivia question.
And what's considered a PED? Just steroids? Look at baseball with all the **** about Steroids in the 90's but nobody mentions how guys were popping greenies between innings in the 60's-80's
Are we assuming fighters from the 30s-40s used "PEDs" as well?
Right? Are we really saying that in over 200 years of boxing, there is just the PED era, and now this?
