So many more things I would like to do than watch another Baby Hughie fight. Root canal, walking on broken glass. What's that on the front of his shirt? Blood from chest acne now? What a miserable "fighter."
What makes that cringey little photo-shoot they did even worse is that you can clearly see that he rubbed his bloodied fingers on his shirt to make himself look more 'badass' (as opposed to 'fatass') for the camera.
You can just tell the camera guy was like "Get more blood on your shirt....how about rubbing your hands on it...yep, that's perfect, now do that gay little smile of yours and say cheese for the camera"
he looks like he's enjoying, and leaving a steakhouse in those two pictures. Back in my day heavyweight fighters looked like heavyweight fighters haha
:lol1: :lol1:

Didn’t Donovan Ruddock fight for it a couple of years age when he was like 50
52. At least he didn't win though, that would have been the final nail in the coffin.
At least Razor still considers himself Canadian though, unlike Lennox and Berbick. Berbick was even more of a slap in the face too, because after his rape case we tried to deport him, he fought the deportation in court costing tax payers god knows how much, beats the deportation case, then moves back to Jamaica anyway.
Anyway though, my injured ass would have turned pro just to say I fought Razor Ruddock! 52 or not haha
Oh, its up there with the Canadian heavyweight Championship, which I'm pretty sure I could turn pro tomorrow, get back into fighting shape for and have a competitive fight for....and I haven't had a match in ten yars lol

There could of been some good fights for the title but the best Canadians don’t bother. I like Neven Pajkic but he’s been long retired. Now you have Mladen, simon kean, teslenko, franz rill, Braidwood & that new russian. None of them fight each other & most of them won’t be bothered. Teslenko has already moved on to Dibella. Kean just beat Alexis Santos for the IBO international belt. It’s too bad as it would have been great watching a few of them battle it out for the canadian belt to gain experience. It’s all about the undefeated record now.
the 0 is far sexier than putting on a good fight. Plus, Lennox set an example that if you're good enough, you just go and fight for the commonwealth title and skip the Canadian strap all together.
Fair point, but he likely hits harder than Fury does.
debatable. This is going to look like a match between two giant flyweights.
I'm not watching unless they bring back the stinger!

Glad to hear boxing is back on ITV 5. I use to get it here with my Superchannel package. Watched many Tyson Fury fights there. Sexton is a decent opponent for Fury after the title fight loss. A big step down from Parker but still not a bad domestic fight. Itv 5, Sky Sports & Dave tv all offering fights. I hope fights can be made between promoters.
It’s a pretty big step down, I think it’s more about picking up the belt as opposed to the opponent. We’ll be getting all that BS about how the British title is “the most prestigious in boxing”😂😂

Had to look it up, he has 9. Only 1 actual KO though, Looks like mostly ref stoppages....and considering all his fights have been in England where they prematurely stop fights......
oh, and in his last 4 fights his opponents have carried a combined record of 53-74-11, So I think it's safe to say that Sexton's sparring partners don't wear headgear.
Dude had to go 12 rounds with Tomas Mrazek (10-68-6) for christ sakes. How bad is Hughie's confidence after the Parker loss?

Sexton can’t punch at all, I don’t think he even has 10 KO’s on his record

Fury would be favorite to out box Sexton.
However, Sexton is brave and can bang a bit so I think it could be an interesting fight.

Hughie will win this, but for the love of god, none of this chit please;

Seeing Leatherface pound into that meat with his bubonic plague pimple body is almost enough to make you go vegetarian, not to mention it was extremely corny / cringey (and incredibly gay)

I dont think so. Sexton is a decent domestic level operator, but he doesnt have the tools to Close the distance fast enough on Fury. I also dont think he can handle Furys clinch tactics. Neither Parker nor Rudenko were able to get effective work done against Fury.
Fury is very good at fighting at his pace and using Spoiler tactics to prevent his opponents to get into rhythm.
Sexton is very Basic, doesnt have the footspeed and footwork to get inside effectively. He also doesnt have the inside fighting skills, to fight out of a clinch.
So it will be the same as most of furys fights. Fury works the jab over and over. Sometimes throws the right, but doesnt want to engage. Sexton tries to get work done, but gets tied up whenever he is close enough.
The only interesting factor is, if Fury learned from the Parker fight and starts to put some power in his punches instead of just touch and move.
