Which boxers basically schooled another boxer so badly, that you should consider them to their opponent's new fathers?
Broner really took Malignaggi's manhood away and I think it would be fairly accurate to consider Malignaggi Broner's son now. He beat him, in his town, and took his girl. Malignaggi truly learned to love Broner as his dad since then and has supported him many times since the "sidepiece" incident.
Broner also really made Gavin Rees his son. Who doesn't remember when Gavin was trying to run away from Broner at the weight-in, refused to look Broner in the eyes or to answer his insults (until he was behind the keyboard on Twitter) and then got his ass beat? Gavin, like Malignaggi, really learned to love Broner as his dad since then and was very respectful after the fight.
Worst sonning I have ever seen:
Ward moves up, after a long break, past prime, to Kovalev's weight class. Beats Kovalev, makes everyone cry, Kovalev then tried to befriend Ward, who didn't want to shake his hand. Kovalev then threatened that he would beat Ward outside of the ring, but Ward quickly shut that **** down by making a crime lord put Kovalev in his place in front of the entire boxing world. They fought again, Ward smashes Kovalev in the balls, knocks him out, everyone cries again. That was a true father-and-son experience.
It doesn't sit well with me to take pleasure in the humiliation of guys who put their health on the line for my entertainment, but I'd be dishonest to say that there ain't a few which have given me considerable satisfaction... :)
TBH, man, you're right. WTF. This is stupid... All fighters deserve some degree of respect.
Who doesn't love to see a good sonning?

Calzaghe vs. Lacy
Saunders vs. Lemieux
Calzaghe beat the **** out of Lacy, but he didn't humiliate him like how Broner did to Rees/Malignaggi or Ward to Kovalev. Otherwise, every brutal loss should count as a sonning. A sonning is something special, man, it doesn't just happen left and right.
I agree about Saunders sonning Lemieux, though. That was gold.
Ah. Fair enough enough, my bad. I didn't see the thread until after you'd inserted it. You can see how it looks. I was right about you being super-impressed with yourself though, wasn't I?
It really is a sh1t thread though, man. What were you thinking?

I first made the Kovalev post. Then I edited it into the opening post, as it was damn good. Fool.

The entire purpose of the thread was to allow him to post the bit about Kovalev which he seems to be rather proud of - so much so that's he's repeated it above, for those who may not have got the point first time around. Some people, huh?

You're all just listing fights where your guy won regardless of what actually took place during the fight.. If you want to see a schooling and a one-sided f*cking beatdown, go watch something like Mayweather-Gatti or Calzaghe-Lacy. Jeez.

This forum makes me cringe everytime I see someone talking about a split decision win being a beatdown/schooling. If you think Broner-Malignaggi and Salido-Lomachenko were one-sided, you should probably stop watching boxing.
Yeah, Paulie arguably deserved the W and was washed up. Loma deserved the W and then you've got the missed deductions (should have been 2 or 3) and the skipped weigh in.
Why so emotional. I guess Golovkin is brooks daddy? No they jumped 2 weight classes. Try again
Not emotional just think Rigo is worthy since he quit so pathetically after not even trying to fight back. Brook at least fought through injury, fought back etc;

You forgot Rigo. The little fellow talked all that trash and quit like a little b!tch not even trying to fight back and then moved back to Cuba. Utterly gutless and a real act of cowardice.
That's probably the best example.

Most of loma's wins have been the other guy giving up or crying. Esp Walters & rigo.
Salido fought a very cheap dirty fight but it says something about his toughness if he didn't give up like the others.
Yeah, Walters was bad but Rigo took it to another level of pathetic especially after all the **** talk. He made Walters look like Corrales in the heart department.
