These 2 YouTubers had an altercation online but respect to them as they squashed their beef in the most admirable way, in a boxing match.
Not many actual boxing fans watched or even knew about this fight but, it’s made big moves for the sport of boxing with over 30 million people viewing this fight on YouTube with a sold out arena.
It just goes to show that boxers need to capitalise on social media and have a strong online presence. World champions like Errol Spence fail to even crack a million views when they fight or sell out arenas.
WHat if bOxingscene actually promotes a Larry vs 50 cent event and it peaked 10 million views in real-time. The YouTube world be like “wtfz!? Who’s Larry?!”
All while boxing scene cuts Larry a 100k check for being an ATG. There’s level to this game
IMO if Larry stepped into the ring he'd transcend boxing.
I've heard you can make $2-$10 for every 1,000 views. Depends what market you are catering too doe.
It’s different for every youtuber and youtube has different grades that channels fall into. One Youtube vlogger made a video where he said he made over 100k in a few months from a few videos about pokomon go.. Not sure what his total views were but most his got around around 1-3 million.
Larry vs Decipher does 100million views.
Fugggg that... Larry vs 50 Cent does 3x that amount, that beef has been rumbling for a very long time.:boxing:
If you have 20 million subs combined. That means the probability to have 1 individual subcription to view event is guaranteed.
Therefore each person that is sharing the link or stream, let’s say 5 friends, then the target estimate should be:
20 mill x 5 friends (shares) = peak low high= About 50 million views average
Now if KSI and Weller had a combined view of 1 million subs with a then 30 million viewership that would be considered successful.
Look at the sponsors and control from that stream, they were hard rolling marketing, 20 million subs to 30 million views isn’t good. The interest wasn’t boxing, it was the characters
Showtime had like 300k subs where as the UFC had a million and the combined total stream was 5 million per streamed event, tour for May vs Mac. The difference is subscription
20 mill combined inst actually accurate as many if not the majority of the same subscribers are subscribed to both channels.
20 million subs combined. This is for streamed events.
Drake has 8 million subs. If it were said that he was going to have a streamed concert it would reach 500 million views worldwide because it free and practical, for a streamed event. Imagine Drake’s Chinese fans and viewership for a live stream alone
30 million for a boxing match is fantastic.. they may have 20 mill subscribers combined but how many of them are boxing fans? You can’t compare it to Drake or even another sport like football, they are just more popular forms of entrainment for the majority of people.
If KSI went head to head against Weller in a F1 race or table tennis game the numbers wouldn’t have been anywhere near as big as 30 million. 2 British YouTubers in their first fight ever got 30 million views in a country of just over 60million people. Actual boxers like the American heavyweight champion of the world struggles to sell out arenas and get 3 million views let alone 30.. that’s impressive.
