been wanting to ask this for a while.
:boxing:
pls dicuss.
Well. In and of itself I'd have to say cleaning out Cruiser is the greater achievement... certainly the route through the WBSS Cruiser competition is harder than Crawfords route to all the marbles at 140... but, also without doubt Bud has looked way more dominant against the opponents he has faced than either Usyk or Gassiev looked in their last bouts. Make of that what you will.
If you are head and shoulders above your competition, you will look pretty impressive. Go back and look at GGG prior to Jacobs and Canelo
Because you didn't see any claiming MW was great doesn't mean they didn't either. :dunce::lol1:
im not the one who just boldy said that out of nowhere i was responding to what you said..you really think you're some master of mental warfare, when in reality your just a misguided fool.
CW was strong before the WBSS simple and plain, MW hasn't been strong in a long time.
Because you didn't see any claiming MW was great doesn't mean they didn't either. :dunce::lol1:
right i never seen them say that about MW
just like you didnt see anyone say it about CW
so were on the same page.
Cw is a lower skilled level fighters usually alot more stiff and robotic.
Lower weight guys just have a more fluid advanced skill set
When you are a grown man you can't move like a kid anymore.
Sure you did. Were they the same people that said MW was strong when Golovkin was fighting the Dominic Wade's?
are you mentally undeveloped ? i've never heard anyone say that about MW but carry on in your land of delusion if you must.
Yes those guys should have
But guys like Crawford, Mikey, prograis, barthelmy are much better than those stiff cement leg cws’s.
Last time I checked Crawford didn't fight Mickey
You can only beat what's in your division and Crawford won all the titles including two unification matches. He also barely lost a round.
Cruiserweight is obviously the better division but shouldn't be used as a reference to undermine Crawford.
Level of competition plays a big part in that. Indongo came basically out of nowhere to beat the one guy in the first round, which no offense, could have been a lucky shot and then he beats Ricky Burns is just isn't that good and then he fights Crawford. It was a good win, but I'm just not sure Indongo is that proven or that good really.
Boxing is the only sport where the "eye test" matters more than resume.
yeah, ive just seen the numbers, but as you mentioned, the USA also has a obesity rate of 38,2% (2017, according to market watch) which makes it the most obese country out of all the OECD countries.
Exactly, that's why I said your average fit westerner isn't 200 lbs. It's way lower... though obesity numbers are tricky too, theyre still fairly accurate... technically at 6' 215 I'm obese or damn near close according to BMI.
Cleaning out 200 is the more difficult feat.
But Crawford also cleaned out 135 for the most part. And is now on to 147. His resume doesn't consist of just one weight class.
He hasn't fought anyone really great tbh
Just think if Crawford wasn't there Indongo cleans out the division. A guy whose 5ft11 and fights like he's 4ft2 that can't throw a single punch without overextending and bringing his chin past his lead foot. Quite frankly anyone half decent counterpuncher will light him the fvck up.
Terrible fighter and an absolute joke he captured 2 world titles. I'm not even being harsh he's embarrassingly flawed to the point he looks like he should be in MMA.
I like Crawford and think he's one of the best but he has a lot of proving to do still.
Cruiserweight and its not even close I'll go one step further and say Cruiserweight is by far the most stacked, toughest division in boxing while 140 is one of the weakest and most shallow. The only world class fighter even at 140 is Crawford. Burns, Indongo, all of them are crap.
Why is it? I don't see anyone amazing. Gassiev is the most skilled and has the potential. Just because they're in competitive fights doesn't make a division strong.
Maybe we just see things differently. I really think breides, dorticos, glowacki are all very good. Even an old huck, and lebedev are still solid tough opponets. Vlasov is still game and tabiti is showing potential. And gassiev and usyk are clearly at the top.
