DAVID HAYE says he is fit and raring to go for his highly-anticipated rematch with Tony Bellew. The two British heavyweights were set to duke it out in December last year following their roller-coaster first meeting in March which Bellew won. Click Here To Read More]
Adonis Stevenson is rightfully criticized for facing sub-par opposition. This includes Bellew. He is literally considered a cherry-picked bum against Superman, but against Haye, who is 50 lbs. bigger, Bellew won. Haye is losing to C level light heavyweights. Literally.
I don't even understand why there are articles about this. I really don't. Is this like the Super Bowl of pub fighting in the U.K. or something?
One fight I'd really like to see is a fully fit David Haye vs Anthony Joshua. Before AJ came along David Haye was the pin up boy of Heavy Weight boxing in the UK and while David Haye was out with the shoulder injury that forced him out of the Tyson Fury fight AJ moved in so fast.
Fully fit Haye would get destroyed by either AJ or Birdlegs...too much power.

Id have to disagree on this one .
Do you really want Bellew to win when he will look to go back to CW and fight Usyk?
At least Haye could give another go at entertaining fights , Bellew ? Cant see him near top 10 caliber .
Haye might be annoying but Bellew isnt even going to stick around win or lose at HW .
I’m completely over haye ha
Bought tickets hotels train tickets to many times to be let down by that chump
Bellew is a prick but at least he’s a warrior
You are totally correct, however....
Haye grossly underestimated Bellew in the 1st round, loading up and looking for the big shot. When he realised that it was going to be more of a challenge to hit Tony he started to box better and won every round convincingly until his injury.
If he takes the sting out and boxes, the opportunity to KO Bellew will open itself up and he will take it this time. Hopefully he rides into the sunset after this. I have no interest in seeing him get pummelled by AJ in future.
I agree entirely however that 1st round was possibly one of the worst displays of boxing I've ever seen from Haye, dare i say it he looked like a shot fighter in comparison to his old self.
He looked better up until the Achilles injury but still lacked the speed of old and his stance dragging that back foot around instead of bouncing on his feet particularly worries me.
He probably retains enough speed to still trouble the bigger HW's of the division but only a really good performance finishing with a KO will get him a shot at AJ.
By which time he'll be closer to 38 years old so...
Wrong. Go watch the ending none of Bellews punches landed, Haye fell by himself. Bellew had a 1 legged fighter and couldn't even finish him, pathetic.
nothing more to add to this. bang right.
How the hell can he say that with any degree of confidence after he's had to pull out of fights and performed poorly in a number of fights due to injuries sustained in camp??? He hasn't even started camp for this one yet. Dumbass.

not sure why so many people choose to ignore this. I couldn't believe how Bellew was STILL missing.
