After Cameroonian born Francis Ngannou derailed the great white hype Stipe Miocic a couple weeks back to claim the HW championship status in the UFC, how do you think he'd fare against AJ in the octagon?
Both are big and muscly with lots of power in their hands, and win fights with their fists - interesting match-up.
Two great Heavyweight champions in 2 different sports battling for supremacy, with the loser being disgraced
It doesn't matter. AJ has zero knowledge when it comes to defending take downs and submissions, so yes compared to AJ, N'Gannou is pretty good. Put AJ and N'gannou in the Octagon next and AJ would get smoked.
It does matter.. AJ has zero knowledge in those areas.. N'Gannou has next to no knowledge also. You don't seem to get the fact that N'Gannou DOES NOT take people down, he does not utilise kicks.
Tell me how a mixed martial artist who only uses boxing beat Anthony Joshua in the cage? Be specific, because I know for a fact he wouldnt take him down, and I also know that N'Gannou gassed massively in the first 4 minutes of his last fight
Definitely goes to the side that excells in their own chosen sport. Mma-Francis.
Boxing- AJ.
Although if their was going to be an upset i would go with AJ landing flush in mma than Ngannou landing anything in boxing.
ngannou gased after ONE round versus miocic ...only chance hed have vs AJ is 1st round knock which doesnt seem likely at all....so im going AJ second round ko
His ground game is weak compared to the best but He has 3-4 wins by submission and a few of his other KO's from ground and pound. If you match him against someone with no ground game whatsoever then he's going to look like a beast. If Ngannou wants to take it to the ground AJ will go down.
Ngannou has all the advantages in an MMA fight.
Again you are wrong my man, yes N'Gannou has 4 sub wins, but if you look into it all of his submissions were after his opponent initiated a takedown, he has actually never shot a takedown in his MMA career.
He does not have "all the advantages" in an MMA fight
He lost. Rogan must have said it ten times during the night, "and he has the world's hardest recorded punch in human history". He blew his load in the 1st round and was completely spent by the 3rd. Skills and experience always trumps power.
Yeah but Ngannou can hit that machine harder than lil' Stipe so who's really laughing?

Is this a joke?
Do you live in a hole? Stipe didn't lose a round against Ngonnou LOSER
It was hilariously 1 sided. Thread starter has to be trolling or ignorant.... dude had 0 skills in MMA. Everyone here picked Stipe to win... then again Strongstyle is literally 5 minutes away lol.
A f@g creating a tread about two Big muscular men
GTFOH
Wow bro that's homophobic, it's 2018!!!
2018!!!
2018!!!
You should be ashamed - a$$-shamed. Stop the gayshaming bro, I thought western commies at least liked gays
Pretty sure that world record was done on a specific machine in a UFC sports lab that has a sample size of about 3 people.
Don't believe for a second that he punches harder than a heavyweight boxer like AJ, Wilder or even Klitschko - I mean he KO'd a glass-chin Overeem who has like 350 KO losses by now in his career.
That's why I said I'd like to see Joshua hit it.... honestly, Klitschko could potentially throw up the best numbers of the bunch.
Ngannou punches hard no doubt but if Klit, Wilder and AJ all had a crack I can almost guarantee that one (if not all) would post larger figures.
Noodlenew will make aj fart and do a back flip with the first uppercut he lands before pissing over his unconscious opponent and clicking in African tongue for the post fight interview "I mek im my b1tch click click I took his pounded yam and put it ina microwave click"

in a stand up fight i will give it to joshua...but if it goes to the ground joshua gets beat the fcuk up...too much of the ground and pound for him to overcome
On the ground? Come on man, N'Gannou does not have a ground game, the guy got into MMA because he wanted to become a boxer.
The Fight wouldn't be going to the ground, I'd be more worried about the leg kicks from Francis..
Still, I would say AJ takes it
Francis has practically no ground game and exclusively throws punches, the guy is extremely one dimensional. I'd almost always choose the mma guys in these situations but aj with 4 oz gloves would be scary
Tough fight to predict. Ngannou would be the rightful favourite as he has a fair few submission wins. I could see him trying to punch Joshua out though and get KO'd.
I'd love to see Joshua punch that machine that Ngannou set the world record on.
