how do you think bud would fare against errol spence if buds 1st fight was against spence knowing that at lkeast early spence is there to be hit with clean shots like brook and lamont did.can bud take the same shots coming from a true welter like spence i say no
I never understood why the people that are picking Crawford are doing it without seeing him take or land one punch at 147. We've seen Spence mow down durable fighters at 147. He has a style that Crawford has not seen before. Yes, Crawford is very talented but how will he react against someone that's applying a lot pressure and throws hard, thudding punches. Right now, I favor Spence... We'll just have to wait to see how Crawford adjusts at 147.

That's a good question. Crawford probably has the power and mean-streak to put Spence away if he lands hard and early, if his power comes up with him at welter. But Spence is such a complete package and a big, solid welter...it does make me think Bud might end up taking his first defeat.
I think since Crawford can fight out of a either stance, the minute he started eating uppercuts from Spence, he would have to switch to Southpaw or get frozen and taken apart in short order.
I think that would be a hell of a jump up in class + I don't like the unknown of what 147lb Bud looks like. I think I'd heavily favor Spence there cuz I think Brook is better than anyone Bud has beaten.
Honnestly, 140 level was utter sht, even worse than 160 in early 2010s (I would rank Sturm and Martinez higher than Idongo and Postol) so obviously Bud run through them all.
147 they bigger guys but also the P4P level is higher.
Yeah, Brook beat Idongo and Postol on the same night.
I think Crawford is the 2nd best welterweight in the world. I think the best welterweight in the world is Spence and I think he would KO Crawford. Spence might lose some early rounds but his power, stamina, work rate, body punching and relentless skillful attack would eventually KO Crawford.
It's hard to say because Crawford is an uber talented guy but his run at 140 was overrated and we don't know how he'll look at 147, especially in the power and punch resistance departments. Meanwhile Spence is a huge welterweight and mowing down everything in sight. You have to favor Spence right now until we get a better reading on 147 Crawford, which sadly we might not as Top Rank doesn't have much to offer him.
