i looked into this in some detail a few weeks back and found it highly suspicious :lol1: he only fought in one venue. all of his opponents only fought in one venue. his american manager had pro fights, you guessed it, only in that one venue. a debuting fighter from the states flying to freaking yemen to fight a four rounder? i mean, hello? also there doesn't seem to be any record of the city that is claimed to be the site of his death ever being bombed on that day. he was a criminal, but also an officer in the army obviously the guy was a fraud. but it was funny that it went so far. teh guy was ranked by alphabet organizations :lol1:. i'm guessing they wanted to get onto american TV and a title shot, and that they aborted the plan and faked his death when it became obvious to them that they'd be caught. make no mistake, one american payday on TV again gonzalez, etc, would give you enough money to live out the rest of your life like a king in a country like yemen. people make less than 2,000 us a year in yemen.
