Why do Gennady Golovkin fans get so defensive when Golovkin fails to fulfil standard?

Why do Gennady Golovkin fans get so defensive when Golovkin is rightfully and justifiably criticized for failing to fulfil a particular standard that he himself sets, his team set, or his fans set for him? For example: Majority ofGolovkin fans before Golovkin faced Jacobs were claiming how Golovkin would destroy Jacobs worse than Dmitry Pirog. Yet, when this doesn't happen and when Golovkin's pathetic, grossly / disgustingly overrated and over-hyped boxing abilities are questioned. All of a sudden, those same fans are content with holding Golovkin to a lower standard by claiming 'JAB IS NOW ENOUGH TO WIN FIGHT DOE' whereas before the fight, nobody was holding Golovkin to that standard and were instead claiming Golovkin would win more impressively and those same fans get emotional into their feelings, upset and defensive when Golovkin's grossly overrated / over-hyped boxing abilities are questioned after he fails to fulfil the standard that has been set by himself, his team or by his fans. The same thing happened before Golovkin faced Canelo Alvarez. The standard set by Golovkin's team and majority of his fans was that he was going to stop Canelo Alvarez inside the distance and now that he failed and got criticized for failing to fulfil the set standard by his rightful critique, the GGG fanatical fans are defending Golovkin's failure by now retrospectively changing the standard, lowering it and making it seem like landing light jabs on Canelo Alvarez was meant to be something to be impressed by and as if that was the expectation all along when the common expectation before the fight was Golovkin was supposed to destroy Canelo Alvarez worse than Floyd Mayweather jr did and was going to stop him inside the distance. Don't get all emotional, butt hurt, defensive and up your feelings when Golovkin gets justifiably and rightfully criticized as the pathetic, overrated, disgusting, gross little fraud that he is after he fails to fulfil a particular expectation which was promised he was going to fulfil. Next time, perhaps don't overrate ugly, gross, disgusting. pathetic and petty little human beings and boxers like Golovkin and Kovalev too early if you don't wish for the criticism they are currently receiving. The racist Kovalev was nearly murdered and executed by his rightful deity and owner in the ring which happened to be Andre Ward whilst Golovkin is now a slave and a dog of Canelo Alvarez that chases after Canelo Alvarez and follows every command of Canelo because that's the only way he will make money since he is a pathetic boxer that can't make as much money for himself without his dog owner Canelo Alvarez. Alot of Golovkin fans are realists and have been following boxing for a long time. They know that not everyone can be knocked out. A win is a win at the end of the day. Most if them enjoy his fighting style and "let the chips fall where the may" as the old saying goes. Personally my favorite fighter are guys like Duran, Hearns, Chavez Golovkin etc. Guys who come to fight. Guys who have very good skills. Spence right now is a guy that's making that kind of name for himself.

Canelo landed 3 punches on GGG. 2 of them on himself. Couldn't even knock out Amir Khan, so Khan had to take a dive. Canelo had to pay off Chavez so he didn't throw back, still didn't win, only because he paid off the judges.

Golovkin should've signed with Top Rank long ago. Can't believe Arum admitted he wanted no part to fulfill the acquirement for Golovkin because he would have to have flown to Germany to do so, those were his words... :D this is like Sarah Silverman who literally had standup skits to belittle anything German, such as saying that Jews driving BMW or Mercedes are traitors etc... aside from any of that, had Arum acquired GGG in 2011 when Universum ended his contract, we would've already seen GGG at 168 by 2013, even if he still would have ducked Ward. At the very least Gennady could've been a champ at 168 years ago. Arum would've done a better job than amateur Loeffler. All Loeffler made was an Air Jordan hype job... look Gennady's resume before 2017. ffs.. Arum's issue was that he didn't want to acquire a fighter who was mired in legal problems - although the fact that fact that he was less familiar with the German legal system was certainly contributory. Maybe Bob could have made the Froch fight happen in 2015 or so, but in no world would Arum - or indeed any other rational promoter pit GGG against Ward instead of Canelo.
