After he defeats Brandon Rios, he will fight either Shawn Porter or Jessie Vargas next and lose by another close decision. Garcia won't get a rematch with Thurman this year and will retire bitterly.
Two years later in 2020, Danny comes back and gets his wish for a rematch with the now vulnerable Keith Thurman, who will have one loss already against Errol Spence.
Garcia gets a lucky punch and knocks 'One time' out and will have the last laugh against his critics. :haha:
I think he fights the Alexander-Ortiz winner next and then in 2019 if Thurman-Spence doesn't happen he'll get a Thurman re-match. Hard to really predict anything after that.
I think he'll end up bumming or fisting his old man to death in a tragic accident . I've heard it through the grapevine that this animosity will be born out of a diy circumcision gone wrong incident between the pair which ended in angel chasing Danny in the street with a broken jagged edged crackpipe.
You beat me to it.😂😂😂

Keith has a tune-up fight, Porter after that fight & when Danny K.O.'s Rios he will be the #2 mandatory to Keith Thurman. I will bet in the future we get Danny vs Shawn made, it wouldn't surprise me if they both take an L from Keith & end up fighting each other (danny/shawn).
I don't believe in fairy tale endings. I do think he'll finish out his career in such a way that he won't step into the deep end of the pool again. He won't fight Spence, Crawford, or Porter. He might rematch Matthysse, but I suspect he retires within the next two years.
I agree that Garcia will never fight Spence and Crawford but he might be forced to fight Shawn Porter if Thurman is unavailable. I was thinking that he can borrow a page from Mayweather and Felix Trinidad, who both retired and came back from a two-year layoff. Danny is only turning 30 this year.
I thought Thurman beat him by several points and would beat him in a rematch even if he had lost to Spence. Garcia would avoid Porter and beat Vargas. Garcia and his dad are mostly cherry pickers. For every dangerous guy like Thurman or Matthysse he fights he fights several cherry picks like Rios.
