Let's all agree Trump is a clown and at least 50% of all Americans are retarded.
And at least 50% of all retarded Americans are members of this site. :lol1:
doesnt appealing/fueling racists make you a racist though? its like saying hitler wasnt against jews he was just using them to further his agenda. maybe he really was super progressive in his heart but we can only judge his actions and words.
cept the norway thing contradicts his whole "merit" based immigration approach. if it was simply about merit there are well educated and rich people from african countries just like norway. by merit each person should have the opportunity to come but hes trying to do a blanket ban on certain countries where the population is mostly black/brown. he threw merit out the window with those comments.
It's a fact that the majority of African migrants are driven out of their own countries by poverty. Scandinavian countries like Norway have the lowest poverty rates and the best social care systems in the world. Unless they they have a job lined up somewhere else, poor Norwegians stay in Norway!

Pretty sure he continued to expand the wealth he inherited?
Didn't fail to become President of the USA either, despite having no real background in politics.
Can't say i'm a supporter of his but he is fair from a failure in life. Even if he did have a great starting point, he's still a very successful business man and now President...
Political expediency explains the Obama thing .. trying to discredit a Democrat president and at the same time appeal to ignorant/racist/paranoid Americans with a view to getting their votes if he stood for office himself.
Norway, I would say, is not a shit house country to Trump because it's affluent, not because it's white.

what about the have nots in the usa? people in states like mississippi, alabama, louisiana, arkansas, etc...can we just trade them for norwegians? oh wait thats the right wing base. they need those dummies to elect them so that they can oppress them lol
Exactly, and the trick is to convince the poor people in your own country that their poverty has been caused by poor people from other countries coming in, stealing jobs, keeping wages down, etc, and that only you understand this and are going to do something about it.
really then why did he fuel and endorse the racist obama is not an american movement? was obama a have not? they could be of any nationality except from kenya? anyone who thinks people from africa all have aids probably is racist. he wasnt talking about merit based immigration when he makes such insane remarks. he just doesnt want certain people. he wants norway

people arent going to remember bush for that. they are going to remember him for starting wars based on lies and destroying the economy just like trump wont be remembered for his lil racist comments but for blowing up the world with nukes(coming soon) :usa2:
well, if he blows up the world with nukes, nobody is gonna be around to remember that haha
I was simply mentioning the dot com bubble because we were already discussing it. Clearly one bubble was worse than the other, but the dot com bubble did cause a minor recession.

Many wealthy, powerful people - "The Haves" - instintively want to preserve the status quo, to prevent the "Have Nots" from getting their hands on whatever it is the "The Haves" want to keep for themselves. This includes stopping the "Have Nots" from other countries from entering yours.
Right wing political parties and policies are always useful to people like that.

the dot com bubble did not collapse the country or economy. his pro wall street policies did. they did see it coming but they dont care. not bush personally of course since he knows nothing but the people around him knew. just like the trump tax plan. they know it will redistribute wealth upwards, people will lose jobs, companies will inflate themselves with stock buy backs, etc...and the average person will pay more and they will use the increased debt to try and cut more social programs but thats their whole plan. create a crisis and then do austerity. americans are so ignorant that they can get away with it. at least so far they have. they are so blatant with their corruption and are getting sloppy and brazen. lets see what happens

I never thought of it that way, but that is an interesting way to look at things. Instead of race, or religion he could just be looking at (for lack of a better term) "The Haves" and "The Have Nots"

the dot com bubble Bush walked into. That was going to pop if it was Bush or Gore. The housing market also, those policies go back decades, and while I will put blame on Bush for not seeing that coming or doing anything about it before the case, the dot com bubble is not on him IMO.

Imho, Trump is not a racist. I think he's like the ancient Greeks and Romans, who didn't give a **** about race but divided people into those who were fit to be citizens and those who were only fit to be slaves .. the exploiters and the exploited, who could both be of any race or nationality.
I think a lot powerful people have that same mind-set.

bush administration had a policy of deregulation just like the clinton adminstration before it. it was certainly their fault. they either could have prevented it but chose not to or they could have at the very least not added to it. they helped create the bubbles yet they aren't to blame for them? you act like they are just naturally occurring things. they are not. they are created with policy and the bush administration had terrible policies that led to terrible results. all the policies over the last 40 years have basically been teh same anway. republicans just do them in hyper mode. democrats come in and apply a brake to them(not a reverse but a brake), then republicans come back in and do hyper mode again. there hasnt been any realistic push back because there are no real liberal parties in the usa. they both voted for it cause their arent any real liberal anti war parties here and also they were lied to if you remember.

The economy I don't really blame on Bush, as he basically had to deal with two recessions that weren't his fault. the dot com bubble burst like a month into his presidency, and the housing bubble in the last year?
I think what will make Bush look better historically than he did at the time is that those wars got near unanimous support from both parties. It's easy now for the Democrats to say they didn't want to go to war, but the votes are public.
As for not preventing 9/11...that's a tough one too, because how many security briefs do you think a president gets every briefing? how many of them are hoaxes? plus, 9/11 had been planned even before the Bush presidency. Sucks that it made him MORE popular, but most voters are idiots anyway.

holy hell you're dense, or at least blinded by your hatred of Donald Trump.
I mentioned my political affiliations so you would know (or so I assumed you would figure it out) that I am not a Trump supporter, and am in this conversation completely non subjectively.
why would you defend a racist by trying to prove hes not racist simply because he has a picture with a black person? playing devils advocate and putting yourself on the racist side hmmm no need for that. im sure i could find a picture of hitler with a jew so hitler wasn't anti-s emetic? you are calling me blind yet you tried to say trump wasnt racist cause he has a picture with someone who is black...meanwhile you ignore decades of racist comments and even recent racist comments he makes. hey trump says he is the least racist person so i guess i believe him? look at the picture it must be true!
