Instead of Kevin Rooney or Teddy Atlas. What do you think would've happened to Mike Tyson's career had the modern day genius trainer Anatoly Lomachenko mentored and trained Mike Tyson, along with Cus D'amato? Assuming that Anatoly Lomachenko continued training Mike Tyson after Cus's death and throughout Mike Tyson's entire career. what difference do you think it would've made to Mike Tyson's career?
Would Mike Tyson have been even better than what he was in his prime from a technical and tactical standpoint? Would we see some glimpses of a heavyweight version of a Vasyl Lomachenko with even better footwork, defense, elusiveness and upper body movement than what Mike Tyson has already shown during his prime?
I personally believe Mike Tyson in his prime had the athleticism and abilities to pull off Anatoly Lomachenko's teachings. It's just a matter of learning those techniques, tactics and moves.
Anatoly Lomachenko is clearly a genius modern day trainer that may have expanded upon Cus D'amato's teachings or maybe even developed Vasyl Lomachenko's style, entirely by himself. Would've been great to see Anatoly Lomachenko and Cus D'amato train prime Mike Tyson.
tf??? Not everyone trains another fighter like there own son, I didn't think Floyd Sr make any other Floyd Jr's
Yup I think a trainer has better success with family for many reasons. Just look at mikey Garcia vs any other fighter trained by Robert. Mikey is by far the most successful

Anatoly trained Oleksandr Usyk and Usyk is stylistically very similar to Vasyl Lomachenko. Usyk is also one of the top pound for pound boxers and arguably the best cruiser weight in the world with an Olympic gold medal.
Of course, Floyd Mayweather Sr isn't going to make every boxer as good as Floyd Mayweather Jr if he trained them. However, a special case can be made for a specially talented boxer. I chose Mike Tyson for a very specific reason. Which was because Mike Tyson actually does seem like he possesses the necessary athleticism, abilities and natural talent to utilize a lot of those moves, techniques and tactics that Anatoly Lomachenko teaches.
If I chose a boxer like David Tua, then he wouldn't be as successful regardless of being trained by such a trainer. Since he lacks the necessary abilities.
