Mayweather, Pacquiao and Marquez are ATGs, plus arguably Bradley might make it in there. Has any fighter in history been avoided by 3 to 4 ATGs or does Amir Khan reluctantly hold that quite revealing world record at this point?
The Khan hype has always been delusional. How does a mediocre fighter have such a dedicated fan base? He's been ducking Kell Brook for years, why doesn't he use his god-like speed his fanboys keep going on about to deal with Brook. I never needed to see him fight Pac or Mayweather, the outcome of both fights is a foregone conclusion. Manny would have whooped his ass. Floyd would have whooped his ass. As far Khan's vaunted speed being something that Floyd couldn't handle? Laughable. We all know how that fight goes, maybe not the Khan fanboys, but the rest of do. Khan keeps the fight close in a few of the early rounds until Floyd starts timing him, cruising to an easy decision. Considering how soft Khan's chin is Floyd might have even gotten the knock out.
Khan was never anything special. He's always been B-level at absolute best.
Ehhhh Khan kinda deservedd it during that Alexander debacle (sitting out for a year). But it's not Khan's fault Maidana did really well in that first fight and earned himself the rematch.
You can't really say Floyd strait ducked Khan.... but he damn sure wasn't eager to fight him either.
I definitely don't classify it as a duck. Khan could've done more to really earn that fight. But you're right, Floyd wasn't jumping at the bits to make it happen either.

May and Pac clearly ducked Khan. Khan isn’t better than Mayweather ofcourse but his style had FLoyd worried that’s why he never fought him. A lot of people hate Khan because of his race, I’ve seen it first hand at a few of his fights too.

If Khan held a belt, was a mandatory or had a defining win at 174 then I could accept some of the 'ducking' cases made in his favor.
But the simple fact is that just by calling a fighter out and them not responding (or the fight just never happening) doesn't equate to being ducked.
Khan is so stupid, and stupid follows stupid - hence his fan base.
I was always intrigued with a Khan vs Mayweather fight, but Khan decided to sit back and hope Floyd picked him rather than going out there and earning it.

I don't think he was avoided so much as he never made himself the obvious top contender in any division.
His case to be the guy Floyd or Manny *HAD* to fight was never the strongest compared to other available names. In part because Khan was so singularly focused on landing one of those 2 major names, he didn't end up fighting a lot of the other guys in his orbit.
Khan's career could have been very different but his chin was exposed relatively early on. A dazzling offensive fighter with a huge weakness.

Layoff the drugs.
Possible that money could have been a factor. While Pac was making $20M+ per fight, his opponents were getting half of less at best. When Floyd was making $30M+ his opponents were getting $5M or less. Khan may have wanted much more money than what they were willing to give. I do believe Mayweather did not want to fight him due to his speed and boxing. Floyd preferred flat-footed opponents who moved straight forward and back. Khan uses a lot of lateral movement, jabs and combinations and has speed to match.
Bradley has already stated that Khan is the one fighter he would come out of retirement for, so I doubt he was ducking Khan. Besides, Pac and Bradley have always taken on dangerous opponents in their prime, so no reason to suspect they would suddenly be afraid of Khan. Same with JMM.
IMO, it would play out like the Judah fight. Khan will have flashy sucess early and get walked down and timed to a non competitive decision or KO.
That's a possibility for sure

Beat him better? It was an either way fight with Khan barely surviving.
Are you conveniently forgetting that Khan got KTFO since that fight and his best win since getting KTFO was Julio Diaz?
Khan knocked down maidana and almost stopped him in 1 round whereas some thought floyd lost the first maidana fight but no one in their right mind thought khan lost lol.. khan beat maidana better than floyd did its beyond debatable.. julio diaz got a draw with shawn porter (most thought he beat porter) just one fight before khan beat him so khan beat diaz when he was in his prime and when he was good enough to beat porter
