why is canelo hated and golovkin revered?

ya man im pretty pathetic...id like to see all fighters held to the same standards and i like to give all fighters a chance to win me over.....im pathetic though if i give it back to a fanbase that constantly chides a fighter for doing the same thing a fighter they cheer on does? if that makes me pathetic than so be it.....its funny though....it certainly seems like a lot of guys change their tune when presented with truths and facts.....youve never gone out here and bashed a fighter in a thread to their fanbase? NEVER? much of the sameness is kind of vague? are they really the same? would canelo fans talk trash on golovkin if golovkin fans thanked canelo for the opportunity and showed canelo respect? hmm....certainly would be an interesting study wouldnt it if golovkin fans said "man fock this brook fight this is BS ...this was BS when canelo did it and ill be damned if im gonna support this BS...shame on loeffler" are we certain canelo fans might not show golovkin some respect? if golovkin ever came out and said "yeah man alot of that smack i was talking about 168...ward hes so good man thats such a tough fight...i dunno" and his fans said "hey man that ward...great resume and what a performance in the 2nd kovalev fight"....u think ward fans would be around trashing golovkin every day? certainly would be interesting to find out....but we all know that will never happen in any universe The answers are no, not in any significant way, I don't trash on any fighters, I don't call guys bums unless they are literally homeless and I don't use the term 'ducking' except in very rare instances involving mandatories and even then only in exceptional circumstances. I did trash the Brook fight as did many other guys who actually like Golovkin as a fighter and I always favoured Ward to beat Golovkin though I'm far from convinced it'd be the whitewash some seem to think. So yeah. Problem you got is you're taking the low route by trying to attack a small and disagreeable part of a fanbase (and, yes all fanbases have their *******s) by attacking the fighter themselves, which naturally antagonises the entire fanbase, not just the guys you wanted to get to... it creates or perpetuates the exact kind of Bullsh1t we're talking about. So you're as much a part of the problem as they are ... and yeah 'they' probably think 'you' started it too, as if that schoolyard sh1t is really an argument that a guy in their mid-30s should be using.

Revere is a BIG word. I don't see many people revering Golovkin on this site. A few, maybe more than a few, like the guy in my sig. Other than that, he has some good, reasonable fans. He also has his own harsh critics.

Ward is a fake. He couldn't even beat an alcoholic without bent judges and a crooked ref. GGG would have anihilated him at 168. Does me saying that make you hate Golovkin even more? I hope so. im always open for a rational discussion how come ggg and his fans killed canelo for fighting a WW than did it.....how come they killed cotto for asking for a CW than said it was ok to ask ward for one? im sure you have some built in excuse because "they arent in the same division"....but golovkin was trying to make fights in that division and said he would fight there....and he was actively looking for a big fight that would get his name out there how come its ok for golovkin to duck in order to chase a big money fight....but when canelo makes a couple of big fights, instead of golovkin, and then still gets golovkin his fight he is a pansy? He has given every top middleweight who was willing to fight him a shot at his titles.If he beats Canelo in the rematch Saunders will get his shot at GGG's titles next. Canelo has a larger fan base yet you think he isn't revered? Canelo never tested himself at 154 outside of his CW fight with Floyd and a disputable win over Lara. Both Charlo bros., Andrade, Williams, all missing from resume. As MW champ he never fought Jacobs, Lemiueax, Saunders, and came in much bigger than Cotto and Khan. He cashed in on Chavez Jr at 164 while avoiding GGG because he was t ready for MW, even though he was a title holder at 160. Good fighter but no one was ducking Canelo, lots of fighters avoided GGG.
