How much do you think Mikey Garcia would demand...

Isn't he getting 2-3 million against this Lipinets dude, who is a virtual nobody? This would have to go PPV and Mikey would probably want 5 million, i mean he'd be dumb not to demand that.

I don't know how much he "deserves". He'll probably demand one or two million. But but it's already established Broner is a bigger draw than Loma. And Mickey made $1 mil in that fight. Why would he demand $2 mil in a fight against a guy with smaller draw? Where would the money come from?

So guys how much do you think Garcia would demand in a Loma fight? Would he make it difficult for this fight to happen or he will surprise us the fight is already scheduled to take place without fans having to ask for negotiation details? Much like many fights that were made without so much fuss?

That's why I made another thread asking why this Mikey guy is full of sh1t. He calls out fighters, then prices himself out when his bluff is called, like the Cotto bluff. And now he's doing it with Loma, Crawford, etc. The guy got first rattled when Arum offered him Gamboa. He actually thought it's a dangerous fight that should make him millions of dollars. Kills me. "Rattled" seems the right term. He thought that Gamboa was his real first big test, but he wanted no part of it unless he gets overpaid. He could have beat the guy for all we know and Gamboa would have been a good name in his resume, just like Crawford's. The Gamboa duck was certainly a surprise to many. So he has history in pricing himself out.

The fight is not going to happen if Mickey wants more money than he deserves. He deserves whatever he's able to negotiate. Right now, his strategy is very clear. He takes whichever no strings attached fight pays the most. Period. If Lomachenko is ever a no strings attached fight, and it pays the most, he'll take the fight. But Arum will never allow that.
