Everybody connected to Davis knows he aint ready for that step, he might never be ready but he sure as hell isn't just yet, so they are doing the right thing in avoiding the fight for a while, that's the smart thing to do.
Who can blame them its kinda like a KT vs Judah, not saying he could beat kostya but he would have done a lot better not so green, I see Davis Lomo the same way, Davis is too green and Lomo too good and probably sparks him right now.
So, are we going to discount his 400 amateur fights, almost twice as Davis, plus the other pro fights that's not counted on his record?
When people defend Lomachenko or GGG's pro record, the first thing I read is their decorated amateur record. So I credit him for that. He is way more experienced than Davis.
Look, I'm not excusing him, and I think he's the best competition for Loma at 130, bar none, but he and his promoter, somehow, don't think they are ready. That's the reality.
If I had a say in it, I'd arrange this fight for September or December, and prepare Davis for that. Davis is talented and skilled, and I never conceded, even once, that he'd lose to Lomachenko. I believe he beats him even now. If a journeyman Salido could, Davis definitely can.
Salido won't last 5 rounds with Davis.
Then by your reasoning it's a straight up duck
Loma is 10-1-0, where is the problem, Davis has had more fights and more fights at 130

How many pro fights had Canelo already had when he fought Floyd? Let me help you, he was 42-0. Davis is 19-0 now.
He's young, it's true, but I don't care about his age, it's the experience that matters. He needs more seasoning!

Lets review:
Tank
Not a world champion
Not in is his prime
Not a big money fight
Not a legacy defining fight
There is no logical reason for this fight to be made right now. There are better fights out there for Loma. Loma is supposedly the p4p best according to experts. What does he gain from Tank? You'd think Tank was Mayweather and Loma was Pacman the boxing media is hyping this fight. I even saw a boxingscene writer lump this fight in with Thurman vs Spence, Wilder vs Joshua, and the GGG vs Canelo rematch as the top prize fights of the year lmao.
TBH I think fanboys are just getting hard dicks at the idea of Loma beating Floyds protege like it means anything.
How old was Canelo when Mayweather fought him?
23!
Now why Mayweather pickin on a young kid like Canelo?
He should a waited till Canelo was "ready".
and yet Tank say stuff like: "I wanna fight da best"

How does a 19-0 fighter dodge anybody? No0bs!
“No0bs”😭😭 🚨Virgin Alert🚨
He’s fought literally no one of note in his 19-0 career. He best win is Pedraza FFS😂😂😂
He clearly don’t want that work from Loma.

Great first post! Very true.

I wouldn't say duck as yet, they obviously don't want that fight "yet" but telling Nomas to go fight Garcia doesn't look good for TBE (Davis promoter).
