Lemieux does good against guys with slow feet who stand in front of him. Saunders exploited that and looked great. However, he struggled with monroe jr in a competitive fight. Good win but he dosen't beat ggg, canelo, or jacobs.
Just because the fight was boring doesn't mean he "struggled." Saunders beat Monroe easily.
Far from boring. Saunders was active and throwing in every round.
GGG took care of Lemieux and Monroe like a pair of kindergarden kids, KOd them, gets zero credit.
BJS wins 12 UD against both, is second coming of Jesus Christ.
Two separate wins. Lemeuix was a belt holder and testing the PPV waters when he got dominated by a somewhat reluctant Golovkin. Willie Monroe Jr was a literal who when he fought GGG and still is (except for the fame he got from losing to GGG). Nobody is really hyping BJS that much are they?

Nobody thinks that. But he made Lemieux look 4 classes lower. GGG should've lost to Lemieux by disqualification for hitting after the bell. That was some dirty shit.
So just to be clear, is trash-ranked Willie Monroe Jr a good scalp or not? When he took the Golovkin fight he was a literal Who? Now all of a sudden he is a good scalp?
You are as good as your last fight and Saunders was pretty damn good in his last fight. GGG also beat the hell out of Lemieux and won every round by a mile plus he dropped him and stopped him. I favor GGG and Canelo to beat Saunders but not by a huge amount. GGG is an even better and harder jabber than Saunders with equal or more reach so Saunders can't play eat the jab with him. Canelo has very fast accurate combinations to the head and body. Saunders will get hit often if he fights Canelo. I favor Saunders by a small amount over Jacobs. They are both good boxers and Jacobs hits harder but Saunders has a better jab and a much better chin.

It was a competitive fight. 115-113 117-111 117-112. Most sites had it 115-113. Not a landslide.
Easy, easy win for him, coming off a stinker with Akavov which was after inactivity and him ballooning up to well over 200 pounds. https://image.ibb.co/i4kr4m/Saunders_Khurtsidze_press_grab2.jpg
This was him when he was supposed to fight Avtandil Khurtsidze, originally planned in July. He fought Monroe in September.
Unlike with his other training camps, he wasn't spending his time losing weight he put on between fights, he went straight back to the gym to prepare for another fight later in the year. What we saw against Lemieux was a fighting fit Saunders, a new more disciplined Saunders.
He's only going to get better, provided he doesn't put weight back on
He looked fat, took monroe lightly.
And still beat monroe won--He looked in shape here, motivated, best version
Saunders is a really good boxer, top 3 at 160--
STAY MAD
Monroe was really negative. One of the most embarrassing performances in recent memory. He threw maybe 10 punches a round he intended to land. Same with Arias against Jacobs.
Yeah but Saunders also had a fair bit of ring rust and was just getting motivated again with a new trainer in that fight.
Styles do make fights though. That's why i think i can make a clearer case for Saunders to give GGG and Canelo trouble but really have no clear opinions how a fight with Jacobs would potentially go.
