I think this is a record. Boxing media and fans who picked and wanted rigo to win are now crying about how lomachenko needs to move up and do this and that to be great. Making excuses about how rigo was too small and too old. FLO-MOS are going nuts with Dan Rafael's comment. It's finally great to see them lose it.

Yes. From Manny fans after the Floyd fight and Kov fans after the 2nd Ward fight. The garbage Loma fans after the Salido fight were also really aggravating.
2 weight classes up is too much. Come on Loma even said it himself in the post fight interview. Was never going to be a competitive fight.
GGG-Brook, Mayweather-JMM type fight IMO.
Hope Loma-Mikey happens!!
It most definitely is. Clowns trying to act like it was a 50/50. Lame.
Plenty of folks here and on social media picked Rigo - BIG. PLENTY. It wasn't a 50/50 I felt it would be a blowout and Rigo would quit but there's a lot of folks claimed Loma had no chance.
Guess you forgot the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight
This place was actually eerily quite right after Floyd v Manny, it was so weird considering how big the fight was. It seemed like hardly anyone was posting for about an hour or so after the fight, especially Manny fans anyway...
And then press conference shoulder excuse happened and they started bombarding the forum.
I'm a big fan of Lomachenko's boxing style. It's about as dominant a style as Mayweather had. He knows how to maximize his efficiency while taking little damage in return. I'm still conflicted by his clowning in the ring. I think he is simply trying to have fun but it's getting old and I'm not sure how he would react when he's in with a real contender.
Oh boy. Man, I am a Mayweather fan. My post was sarcasm at its best (or so I thought). Which crowd am I supposed to be a part of now?
I am not a boxing purist but I try to be honest about what I see. I've been saying the same thing for like 8 months now. Lomachenko is a special fighter but he's being elevated to a status that he hasn't reached yet. This statement will appear that I'm hating by people like the OP. That was the purpose of my "sarcastic" post. But here you come chiming in and got it all wrong. I guess being a boxing purist leaves little room for basic comprehension.
If it was sarcasm, my apologies, but the fact is most people who admire Mayweather's boxing style are also fan's of Loma's boxing, it has nothing to do with race, ethnicity, nationalism, at the end of the day we like skills and talent.
Last I checked Mayweather fans like myself have always been impressed and enjoy Loma's boxing ability, it's a shame that Loma has now been claimed by your crowd. I'd prefer you run back to Triple G and Kovalev and leave Loma for real boxing purists to discuss

Yeah, it's a crying shame when the fans of the winner makes so many excuses.
"Why all the hate for Lomy?"
"Is it because of the color of his skin?"
"Only the Mayweather fans talk bad about Lomy"
"Crawford hasn't fought anyone to be P4P #1."

Salido beat him and that is a fact.
No, he did not and this is a fact.
I doubt you have even watched the fight.
If you did, then you just do not understand difference between beating someone in a fight and winning a fight by judges' scores.
So far, the fact is that fat pig Salido landed less punches (low blows are NOT COUNTED in boxing) and barely survived the 12th. :loser:
Later in the fight the veteran ballbusting beetch was being tossed around the ring like a puppy by a guy 12 lbs lighter and fighting his second pro fight! LOL
If you sincerely believe Salido won fair and square then I say you cannot differ your ars* from a broomstick.
A smaller guy from a lower weight class was the one ducking
Ok dude...whatever.
Talk about bias
He asked for the fight was offered it (for more than he just got paid) and said no. He is on film admitting it.
Yes you are insanely biased.
What's wrong with a catch weight of 124
Too risky??
Loma took ZERO risk fighting Rigo at 130
ZERO
Rigo just jumped TWO weight classes but 124 is too much for Loma
:lol1:
Refer to my previous post. Lomachenko was on his way up. He started his career at 126, fought a few times at 130, and is now moving to 135. Besides that, he didn’t need a Rigo fight. It was the other way around. Why would he want to drop to 124? To make you happy? Lol
Loma didn't agree to anything at 126.
He's not doing anything special at 130 and will do the same if he moves to 135.
Rigo was up against it.
Loma had ALL the advantages.
Haha Please, stop right there. With this statement, you’re telling me you’re either ignorant or in denial. It’s been shown over and over around here that Lomachenko was willing to fight at 126, but not at a catchweight of 124.
Lomachenko had all the advantages. So what? Last I checked, it was Rigo chasing the damn fight. I don’t know where Vasyl will eventually wind up. He may not have proven all that much yet, but his future looks very promising. Rigo and his team have proven themselves to be lying, incompetent and stupid. It pains me to say that, but I don’t have my head buried in the sand.
What's wrong with wanting more money?
Loma rejected Walters for a different reason...because he failed to make weight for Sosa.
Loma's reason is just pathetic.
Loma was wanting to fight at 126 because he wanted to fight the best there and Rigo but realized when Rigo ducked the fight it was going to be hard so moved up. Walters couldn't make 126 no more.
Your just too biased. It's fine.
Walters wanted more money sure but he accepted the same offer and that was twice his highest payday.
This guy has a truth allergy:lol1:
Walters didn't admit to any such thing.
Loma rejected Walters because he didn't make weight for Sosa.
He admitted it in the buildup to the fight. Sure the year BEFORE the fight didn't happen due to Walters not making weight.
https://www.badlefthook.com/2016/5/3/11576622/nicholas-walters-explains-turning-down-career-high-offer-to-face
It just wasn't enough money, according to Nicholas Walters. Despite being offered a career-high purse of $550,000 to take on two-time Olympic gold medalist Vasyl Lomachenko, Walters ultimately balked at the offer citing that he would have nothing left after taxes and expenses. Here's what Walters had to say to ****** on a move that many industry observers openly questioned.
"Lomachenko is one of the better opponents that we're gonna fight," Walters told ******.com on Tuesday. "We asked for a certain amount; they said no. They said only $550,000 was available for the fight and I think fighting Lomachenko for $550,000 with the tax we're gonna pay to the government and everybody, we actually go home with nothing. We took the decision; we're not gonna fight for $550,000."
Fact based. Now I know your next excuse is that Walters was paid off to say that and/or they used mind control but I'm not buying that. You lied. Straight up.
Lying again.
Walters was shelved by Arum for a year.
Only a moron would think he had a chance.
Loma didn't want Walters at 126 because he(Walters) failed to make weight for Sosa.
Then fought him at 130 anyway.
B*tch move.
Stop lying. Walters admitted that he turned the fight down for June 2016 at 126. He claimed that himself so I'll believe him. That also had a lot to do with the less than a year (another lie) that he was shelved for. He should have just took it in June but he admitted he said no. Not interested in any more excuses when Walters provided me with facts.
Much like Rigo turning down and admitting to doing so more money at 126 than he just took.
Loma didn't agree to anything at 126.
He's not doing anything special at 130 and will do the same if he moves to 135.
Rigo was up against it.
Loma had ALL the advantages.
He proved you wrong beating Walters abd Rigo. Both guys who turned down bigger purses at 126 after Loma agreed. Walters also the bigger man than Loma.

Yup, it was like this on Boxingscene after the fight last Saturday night :
