Floyd was lucky that he didn't face any elite Eastern European pros when he was coming up. That style of boxing is all wrong for him.
The mediocre Serafim Todorov was causing him all kinds of problems and beat him.
So fùcking what it's older. Doesn't mean shít. Only an uneducated fool would say that. My school is older than yours nah naa nanah na.
I'm sorry homie... This is my attempt to get a solid dudes(your) forgiveness
My bad, can I get a pass?
No he did not lose the first fight...but it was so close he gave the man a rematch.
He had an injury..but at least he didn't quit like Vitali did vs Byrd.:bottle:
Vitali had one of those phantom Pacman injuries.
Now you speaking my language... Respect is very reluctantly givin... You gotta earn it...
But, in my opinion, Castillo took what can't be bought, He took it to Floyd.. Fvck rematches, Floyd lost that one, sure... He won a re match... Sure Ployd destroyed Corrales, & I hated seeing it... How young are you? I am nothing, a well known nothing... But... Floyd lost that night... A rematch win can't pad an azz whopping on that there night....
He bought a title, but he failed to win homie... Castillo slung back... JCC stopped his uncle Roger, 2x... Two fvcking times, once Roger caved into the pressure of a serious azz whopping... How old are you?
It's funny when Americans are speaking to me about education when the university where I studied is older than your pathetic country.

What are all those EE fighters doing today that Floyd didn't fight?
Wladimir Klitschko? Has got a PHD. Is a scientist. A doctor. Is loved globally. Speaks multiple languages. Is so great that USA had to make a movie (Rocky) about him, portrayed by a fictional character named Ivan Drago. Has been the greatest ambassador for the sport of boxing.
Vitali Klitschko? Everything I wrote about Wladimir Klitschko but is also a politician.
Need I go on?
Floyd Mayweather Jr has nothing over either Klitschko brother (accept maybe a little bit more money).
Perhaps do some research. Travel around the world and you will find more answers to your question.
The best boxing fights happen in Las Vegas. UK had a great one with Joshua and Klit, but large majority of Top fights not only happen in US...almost always Las Vegas.
It is the mecca of boxing for now
Nope, it isn't and doesn't. If you state so, then it is your opinion (which I disagree with). The bouts happening in the UK and mainland Europe are just as good, if not better than bouts taking place in USA.
Right now Britain is the Mecca of boxing. American fighters have to travel to Britain to make a name for themselves like Errol Spence. Even in the Rocky movie Creed they had to travel to Britain.
I'm not a big fan of Britain but it's a fact that they're now the place to be when it comes to boxing.
Yup, I totally agree!
Salido ducked the Loma rematch even after he was offered a fortune. He basically said "no mas".
He will receive a career high payday for fighting Loma, I don't know why he is so content with that one win over him that he'd turn down making bank in a rematch, though that ship has all but sailed now.
Floyd immediately rematched Castillo.
He didn't duck the rematch like Loma.

Actually, USA isn't the whole world. The world doesn't revolve around the USA. Claiming Las Vegas is the Mecca of boxing is your opinion and not an objective fact!
You're assuming that elite boxers can't exist if they don't compete at Las Vegas or USA. That's false!

The atmosphere in Las Vegas is like on a funeral. It's much better when the fights take place in Britain or Russia with crowds chanting or the spectacular Klitschko entrances in Germany.
America is one of the most boring countries in the world. I will never travel there. What the hell is there to see in America? No historic buildings, nothing.
It would be much better for boxing if all the big fights would take place in Europe, Japan or Latin America. Those countries have passion for big sport events.
:gay:
You're the typical ignorant euro trash mongoloid. You watch some news and think every American is an idiot. I actually have a very high level of education. Deans List for a few years actually. You're a twit and I wouldn' expect a twit to want to engage with a mastermind like myself and feel normal.
Quit talking out of the side of your neck and keep it moving Chumlee.
It's funny when Americans are speaking to me about education when the university where I studied is older than your pathetic country.
That doesn't change the fact that he predominantly faced domestic level opponents. Boxing against and defeating a few non-American opponents doesn't change this fact!
It does matter where the bouts took place in. Simply because of the fact that boxing at one's home country is more advantageous for the home / local boxer than the foreign boxer. A better feat is to beat opponents in a neutral location. Even better than that is to beat opponents in their own backyard / home location.
Then why do foreign fighters travel to America to fight? You know why, here is where the money is to be made. Vegas has some of the lowest tax rates in the entire world so fighters travel to Vegas to make as much money as they can. Vegas is the fight capital of the world which is why Floyd fought most of his big fights there.
Plus it's not like fighters have never been robbed in their own countries or were subject to unfair judging. Floyd fought the biggest names while they were reigning and defending world champions and won. And that's what matters.
Floyd was lucky that he didn't face any elite Eastern European pros when he was coming up. That style of boxing is all wrong for him.

1-1 vs Jose Luis Castillo too
Europe is a cultural and racial thing. Those countries don't belong into European sphere, except for that 4 million strong Slavic minority in Kazakhstan.
Floyd beat some guy name Bakhtiyar. A guy with such name has as much connection to Europe as Julius Indongo.
That's true, Europe isn't even a proper continent, it's actually a part of Asia and it's borders are ideologically determined. It's actually a Christian-dom.
Kazakhstan is a Turkish country located in the heart of Central Asia.
Due to assimilation policies of Russians Turcic tribes were mixed into the Slavic population but continued their names if not the languages, like Bahtiyar-oglu, Bahtiyarov.
Pacquiao
Maidana
Canelo
Cotto
Mosley
Hatton
Gatti
All big names and all from different countries. Irrespective of where they fought, he beat every one of them easily.

Domestic opposition? Pacquiao, Canelo, Maidana, and even McGrgeor, if you want to include him, aren't from the United States. How can Floyd be fighting domestic opposition if nearly half of all his opponents aren't even from the U.S.? Just because he fought guys in the U.S. doesn't mean they were from the U.S. "smart guy."

Yeah, ummm...nope. Would've been true in the 19th century, but all elite fighters meet at the mecca of boxing - Las Vegas.
Floyd's most lucrative wins are against an Irishman, Englishman, FilipinoFUCK, and a Mexican. That's McG, pacFUCK, Ca$hnelo, and Ricky
