Canelo is a better P4P fighter than Gennady so Canelo is ahead of him, not behind. Proof? Canelo's in his 3rd weight class and Gennady is still trying to become the #1 guy in his only weight class.
Thurman is way too high.
Mikey and Spence close out the Top 10 or are just on the outside looking in
Hey I hear you bro, for the top 5 you can spin it anyway you want but you'll still most likely have the same characters here & there. I don't thing being a multi weight division champ makes you P4P regardless of weight class. I don't feel that should automatically make you better than someone who stood at his weight & whipped all A$$...just saying it automatically shouldn't qualify...
1. Lomachenko
2. Crawford
3. Golovkin
4. Canelo
5. Kovalev
6. Mikey
7. Thurman
8. Usyk
9. Rigo
10. Santa Cruz
Rigo moved up 2 divisions and lost to a bigger, better man. The quit was very disappointing but i still think he's top dog at 122 until proven otherwise. Santa cruz gets alot of hate but he actually has a good resume, and is a multiple division belt holder. Many people have inoue but he just doesnt have a good resume at all yet.
The Rungsvai-Estrada winner will get in next year imo, same with spence if he beats peterson. The winner of the cruiser tourney will definitely be top 5 no question. The winners of joshua-parker and wilder-ortiz(if they each happen) are other strong candidates. the smw tourney winner will have a decent shot as well.
Everyone has a right to their own pfp list and their list is perfect for them. After all PFP lists are mostly just opinion and guesswork and not provable fact so one pfp list is as good as another. Crawford is a welterweight now so I rate him PFP as a welterweight. He was near unbeatable at 140 so I had him number 2 pfp. As a welterweight I dropped him to fourth behind Loma, GGG and Spence because I think Spence can beat him.Crawford has the better resume but this is pfp and not resume. I can't very well rate Crawford over Spence pfp if I believe Spence beats him and I do. You have Garcia at number 8. If you mean Mikey Garcia I think he belongs in the top 10 pfp. If you mean Danny Garcia I don't have him anywhere near top 10 pfp. PFP threads are sure arguments starters and I am sure many won't like what I said here.
I saw your P4P list & it's almost similar. In fact I noticed that the majority of the P4P list in this forum usually have the first 6 within the top 6 but in different order. So what does that tells you? That the majority here agreed to a certain degree. Here's my take on why I rate Crawford over Spence. I feel Crawford's been in the bigstage/limelight much longer & has accomplished to the max all everything that has come his way. And has become the undisputed champion of his weight class. While Spence has accomplished a lot as well but it's small in comparison to Crawford. While i'm a fan of both without having a slight favorite of one over the other. I feel that if these two take over the Welterwgt division, it has the potential of being a Leonard/Hearns classic. But let's not leave Keith Thurman out. He is rightfully so the top dog in the Welterwgt division with 2 big wins over Porter & D.Garcia.
And regarding which Garcia on the list, Mickey Garcia.
1)Crawford
2)Loma
3)GGG
4)Canelo
5)Thurman
6)Rungvisai
7)Kovalev
8)Spence/Garcia
9)Usyk
