Rigo didnt quit says Pedro Diaz/Espn inteview

Pedro Diaz tells ESPN deportes radio show that Rigo didn't quit, he took off his gloves since his hand was hurt and he had everything against him. We don't like our boxers to get beat up for no reason.

In particular because he didn't stop the Colon fight and he takes praise for Colon being alive while he is a living vegetable. I don't believe he visited him in the hospital once. Thats what im saying, he just took a huge sh1t on himself with this statement

Weak. Just let it go. Rigo quit. He can redeem himself at 126 if he chooses to fight again, but he will always have the stink of quitting on him. Four decades later and Duran still gets taunted and haunted by "No Mas"--even though he is considered one of the ATGs. Rigo will suffer the same fate. That's how i see it, he didn't even fight his trainer for one more round, his face said it all he was content to quit.

I don't believe there was an injury I have my suspicion about what could have happen but to be fair we should just leave it as is, loma was too much and rigo had no answers.
