British Lomachenko?!

Can't see any similarities between Lomachenko and Josh Kelly. No where near sold on Kelly. Loads of visible holes already and he's only had about 4 fights. I agree man, I rate Kelly but people are getting waaay ahead of themselves, he’s literally fought no one yet. I also don’t see the Loma comparison’s either.

Kind of intrigued as to what holes you're already seeing if i'm honest? Maybe i've just messed them so far as he seems to have passed the eye test so far for me... though it is very, very early. Well he makes a lot of mistakes in the sense that his Roy Jones esque uncoventional style where he doesn't go by the book, if you can make it work then fair play but I don't think he can. He's still green and learning so obviously mistakes will happen but I just see his defense as being leaky, already in his short career he get's hit too much for my liking, puts himself out of position when being overly offensive. I don't see him being overly successful but hopefully he is good luck to him.

Can't be a Loma without 2 gold medals, but I get your point. They are very similar with the flashy footwork and matador showmanship. I will definitely be following his career closely. We'll have to see if all that "flash and flair" will work in the welterweight division.

I heard about Kelly but I don’t know a damn thing about him I also heard about dubios tho.. Kelly and Taylor are the British prospects I'm sure will be World level, not totally convinced by any of the others so far.

Yeah that’s Josh Kelly, got that early Prince Naz arrogance in his ring generalship. And I hope he keeps that as his competition goes up. I know he is taking it fight by fight at the minute but I would absolutely love to see him do well in the future.

Damn, he's good, looks like a really good talent, I think Eddie Hearn supposed to sign him Maxim Dadashev and Alexander Besputin got some Lomachenko influence in their styles too If I was a promoter, I'd break my neck to sign talents like Josh Kelly, Andy Cruz from Cuba, Magomed Kurbanov or Daniyar Yeleussinov, they don't have no major contracts but they're top talents This British kid is great at feeling the distance
