DAVID PRICE has been through some dark days but can still see light at the end of his career. The 34-year-old one-time heavyweight hope accepts winning a world title is beyond him now. But he refuses to walk away from a sport that has been so cruel to him. Beijing Olympic bronze medallist Price suffered two defeats to Tony Thompson before another devastating loss to Erkan Teper ended his bid to join the division's elite. Click Here To Read More]
If Price can win by stoppage tonight it would be good, like I said in a previous article he would not be a bad choice as Tyson Fury's comeback opponent, but it looks like they going on the Bellew train. Possibly get Price in with Hughie on the undercard and let's see where he is after that, so come on Pricey look good tonight.
Really? I think that was wishful thinking on your part. Had Price KO'd Sokolowski, a 4-11-2 opponent at the time, he would've proved nothing. All he proves by getting a points win is he is done for all intensive purposes in the sport of boxing.
Price is going nowhere in boxing other than quite possibly the infirmary. The guy needs to retire and go back to his day job before he gets knocked into oblivion by a designated journeyman.
You have to question the intelligence of a man who says "I'm an intelligent person" when justifying continuing the pursuit of a pro career in a contact sport. I wish him well and at least he's accepted the fact that he's not world title material but he still may be a bit touched to think he can have success on even a European level. Poor David Price.
Nice bloke Price, good fighter it's a shame he had such a tiny head. He really has the head of a lightweight and I think it is the reason he gets hurt so easily.
Fury claims that he is 6´9 but on this photo he looks an inch smaller than 6´8 Price.
Always though this, plus seeing Price stood with Joshua at ringside he seemed to tower over AJ. Maybe Dave is taller than he thinks he is.

That is the first thing I noticed. Maybe Price has shoes with bigger soles...
Lovely lad with a weak chin strong punch and little stamina .I understand why he wants a crack at the money but I really hoped he would stay retied .The warning signs are there.
