Fowl Crotch suffers from a late bloomer's downward spiralling self-pity. His best young years were deprived of pay days and fame.. and he peaked relatively at the end of his career. It's also overlooked that;
1) George Groves wasn't really a legacy fight in the grand scheme of the Word Recognised History Book's Hall of Famers. Groves was a substandard inferior opponent that made froch look vulnerable - and at times stupid.
2) The 80,000 record he jerked off to didn't last long (pipped by Joshua v Klitscko)!
3) Results aside, one cannot rule out that the two George Groves fights retired him. Groves is heavy handed (Eduard Gutknecht's still in intensive care for nearly a year), so when considering froch blocked the accumulation of Groves punches with his broken nose, jawbones, cheekbones and upper skull... the accumulation most definitely could have taken its toll to put a somewhat premature end to his career! Think about it.. what a knob for desperately seeking Chavez Jr (after the 1st Groves fight) and trying to build it up as a swan song.. clear evidence he wasn't hungry for a Groves rematch!
4) He was nearly crying like a ***** when James DeGale was walking around with the IBF belt (after beating Dirrell more convincingly than froch) and DeGale ignored him  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_tberU_7tw
5) He never fought in Vegas! .. that probably still bothers the **** out of him stewing him ever deeper into self-pity
6) Don't forget he needed a shrink to help him prepare for the 2nd Groves fight.. so he ****ed up his tough guy image with that alone.. If he so wanted a legacy fight, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place .. there was GGG .. or Stevenson and/or Kovalev if he moved up a weight!.. any one of their punches potentially finish what Groves should have!
Truth is the ****ing twat used to exhibit deep jealousy of other fighters even when he was in the mix. Nobody really gave a froch about carl . Time to shut the froch up and froch off into the sunset dark clouds of depressive lamentations you self-indulgent, narcissistic, egomaniacal ****ing prick!
he chased after that fight but ward wasnt interested in coming over to nottingham where he wouldnt have the officials in his pocket. With the crowd behind him ive got no doubt that froch would have won the rematch, it would have been close like the first fight but the home advantage would have made the difference
Another skin pigmentation conclusion on your part. Froch just plain doesn't have the hand or foot speed to ever beat Ward.
115-113 ward.
So you, a guy who hates Ward so bad you actually posted that he was a wifebeater (totally scumbag thing to do), claimed you had the links to back it up and when pressed for those links produced ZERO, scored it 115-113 Ward? Dead give away it was at least a 117-111 fight for Ward. Which would be right on the money.
Does your love interest (GGG)ducking Ward really bother you so bad that you would continually post untrue garbage about him?

"Chased" LOL
Froch killed that fight by insisting on Nottingham. Ward said he would come to the UK, which is more than a fair compromise. Froch nor Hearn really fancied that fight, you are deluding yourself if you think otherwise, and I am a fan of both guys, not a fan of Froch and probably the biggest Ward hater on here, like you.
I don't think Froch wins that fight anywhere. Froch scraped past Dirrell in Nottingham, Ward is another level up from Dirrell, much more consistent, much harder to beat.
I don't always agree w/ Virg but when he's right, he's really insightful and he's spot on here.
I really liked Carl the fighter but he seems to be a mentally weak individual, not unlike Kovalev. Lets things get to him and can't own up to his faults. BHop is like that too.
Andre had a freshly broken hand when he schooled Carl. Froch is only embarrassing himself when he talks shyt about him.
A lot of truth here imo!
however, separate to froch's whining, ward's career was very well/carefully managed and he was (for some reason) allowed to break the rules of boxing on a suspiciously regular basis.
Ward won by 1 round Lol, would have been a draw if froch won ano5her round. It was a razor think decision and I think froch had worked him out towards the end.
The cards were a joke. Froch himself said they were way off. It was a 10-2/9-3 sort of fight.

If that was true he would have actively pursued the rematch. His "pursuit" was half baked at best. On numerous occasions he called the rematch a "hard fight".
He didn't have him worked out, Ward had just slowed down and Froch needed a knockout so was throwing caution to the wind, anyway Froch is a 15 round fighter, and someone who would have performed better in the 15 round days. In a 12 round fight against Ward? No chance, zero.
In terms of scoring, always subjective so not going to dismiss your opinion, but 90% of people had Ward wide. If you really try and give Froch ALL the swing rounds you can have it 8-4 Ward. Froch was comprehensively outlanded, clean punching, ring generalship, effective aggression, all in favour of Ward. The two 115-113 cards allowed Froch to walk away with his head held high, but they did not tell the real story of the fight.
He beat Froch extremely clean - and Froch knows deep down he hasn't got the beating of Ward.
Yeah. Does Ward even have a single win over a top opponent that is without controversy? Seriously he makes Sven Ottke's record look completely legit.
Spot on. Every win he's had in a major fight has been surrounded with controversy. Once is fine, but you reach a point when the adage applies: there's no smoke without fire. Also, Froch sold out Wembley arena. Ward was box office poison.

For the record, what was your scorecard?
froch retired within weeks of ward coming back. he had no business in the ring with him. even if he could do better against some of the common oppoision, styles make fights.
would ward knock bute into next week? doubt it. he'd UD him.
would ward beat froch every single time they fought, even though froch beat bute in a more convincing manner than ward would have been able to muster?
absolutely.
styles make fights. ward had the gas tank, chin, and style to win virtually every round against froch. i gave froch 2 rounds, IIRc, and one was close. i thin it was the 11th which was the only clear froch round. have not watched that fight in a year, but i posted my card on bscene somewhere.
this isn't jermain taylor who is just going to gas out and give up late in the fight, or chinny george groves or lucian bute, or slow arthur abraham.
Who do you think is Ward's best win? Froch or Kovalev?

Froch doesn't give two sh|ts. He'll be remembered for his great fights against Groves, not for the clinchfest that was Ward fight, if you can even call it a fight. Fvck Ward and his boring a$$ fans. Froch is a true warrior and he was spot on when he said Ward was box office poison, boring as fvck fighter as there's ever been.
This is the truth that Ward fans know all about but refuse to admit or aknowledge.
There is a reason why Ward would never fight outside the States and why he turned down career high offers to rematch Froch and Kessler in their own countries.
Ward needed to be able to use illegal tactics when necessary. Outside the States, he wouldn't have been allowed to do that.
He also got an offer for a two fight deal with Lucian bute. First fight in jOakland. Second in Montreal.
Do I have to say Ward turned the offer down? Well he did of course. Did he make a counter offer then? Lmao. Of course not! Crossing a border is not an option.
He said that Bute wasn’t qualified and then Ward makes a fight with Dmitri Sartison!!
And his fans defended him then and they still do. That’s one reason why we know Ward fans have below average IQ.
Headbutts are part of the way Ward fights. You saw it against Bika, Kessler, Rodriguez, Kovalev and so on and on. Ward leads with his head. It's illegal. He would be penalized if he had travelled hence why he didn't.
Oh and the satisfactory conclusion in Kovalev 2, would have been a point deduction to Ward and Kovalev getting 5 minutes to recover from the foul.

I have been here long enough to know that you feel especially passionate about this subject. I know that because I have been on the same side as you defending Kessler's legacy and ability with other posters who severely underrate him.
The butts were a combination of Ward coming onto Kessler from down low and Kessler having a very upright boxing stance. Ward doesn't have a history of head butts in his fights, it would be different if there was a correlation. He is a guy who doesn't like to be hit, and is a determined winner, a guy who hasn't lost since he was 12, he prides himself on that.
Almost every guy I've ever seen that uses his head, and its obvious they use it as a weapon, is a guy who is often out skilled and doesn't have the talent to compete with the best fighters, who needs to use those things to even the playing field, a recent example would be someone like Sakio Bika. But sometimes you get guys like Ward, Tim Bradley, or Hatton where their overzealousness or style can sometimes cause unintentional headbutts. These guys don't want those things, because they are winners and butts can put the result of the fight at risk.
That is a long way of saying that I disagree with you! I think you almost undermine Kessler's abilities and limitations as a fighter by not admitting to his shortcomings.
Ward-Kovalev was an unsatisfying ending. My take on it is that the last few shots on the ropes were low, but the way Kovalev was bending over created a weird situation you don't see in a professional boxing ring, fight or spar, but the type of things you see with a novice.
I feel the most satisfactory conclusion would have been to give Kovalev a standing 8 count, arguing that the way he was leaning on the ropes was what was keeping him up.

Ward made flying headbutts all through the fight. The first significant one was after Kessler hurt him in round 2.
'Not intentional'. LMAO.
My guess would be that you think Ward only landed legal bodyshots on Kovalev also.
