Floyd's only talked about by his fans saying how good Floyd is making thread after thread.
If I started threads like who is second greatest boxer after PAC I'm sure yoiud talk about pac.
No one, not even writers even talk about Manny man...It is really sad to be honest, only time he is mentioned is to bring up Mayweather..
He is literally still active and no one even talks about him on here now man
Make a mayweahter thread and look at the replies
make a manny thread and watch how few replies there are and the ones you do get will mention mayweather
Floyd is retired and talked about constantly on here...When does anyone even mention Manny?

Mayweather is retired and still the biggest name in boxing
Manny is not retired and almost forgotten. Great fighter in his day but his name doesn’t carry the same weight as Floyd’s.
Mayweather because he will still be fighting with a 56-12 record fighting guys in the Orleans Ballroom off the strip for $3,000.00 purses and free hotel rooms with his 2001 Pontiac LeMans leaking oil in the long term parking.
I'll remember both as i've followed their careers since the beginning (Pacquiao since Ledwaba). Appreciated Pretty boy Floyd more than Money May though, I liked him when he was coming up and hungry.
Manny I've always enjoyed watching. Remember whooping fools in Fight Night back in the day then they'd ask me who was this Pacquiao guy :lol1:
Definitely Pacquiao.
In the future whenever you mention the name Mayweather, people will probably think you're talking about the trainer, Mayweather Sr. Floyd Jr.'s only use will be highlight videos of his incredible defense, because literally no one except his five fanboys will want to bother sitting through his actual fights.
Terrible troll job bro
They'll both be remembered in 10 years but I think Mayweather will still be involved in boxing in some form. Every time he does his interviews on one of his promotional events people will reminisce about his time as an active boxer.
Pacquiao will be remembered for his great fights, he had some truly memorable fights.
Mayweather will be remembered for what he did outside the ring, his antics, his trash talk, the hype machine.
Definitely Pacquiao.

It all depends on what happens from now.
Both will be remembered as phenomminal ATG boxers but I'm worried that the next 10 years could have them remembered for completely different reasons. Manny could become the Phillipines president or go down in some political corruption or crime case or something and be remembered for that.
Floyd could become an amazing coach/promotor or be jailed for another domestic violence incident or tax evasion or something and be remembered for that.
Time will tell how they are remembered. A decade is a very long time in boxing.
Pacquiao's fierce bouts and 38 KOs
or
Mayweather's excellent outboxing of legendary fighters and ring smarts
I have watched allot of boxing and I have never in my life seen a fighter do the things Floyd has done against opponents of that caliber. When he fought, I would spend the next week and a half watching the fight over and over as a daily hobby. Smoke some weed, and run the fight back.
I loved Pac too, and thought he was amazing. But I wasnt blown out of the water by his skillset.
oth will be Hof'ers and rememberd but Floyds name will last longer the fact that he is the villian we love to hate and never seen him lose it keep him being discussed as time goes on. Plus he is the better boxer of the 2 and Will constantly get comparrd to Ali and Robinson as the goat.
If you make a Floyd thread the replies will be endlesss if you post a Manny thread you wont get as manny people talking.
I'm a Floyd fan, but I'll remember Pac, too. The guy had overcome one of the most challenging situations in a poverty ridden country. The sad thing is Pac is now gonna be remembered more for his losses if he doesn't quit soon.
Floyd, for all the wrong reasons.
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are two completely different personalities.
Floyd does things to keep himself in the news.
Manny on the other hand is low key.
Obviously, it would be more difficult to forget Floyd because he lives for the news. He's still trying to get people to like him.
You can't say the same about Pacquiao who lives to help his fellow men, which is boring.
The best example I can give is pretty much like who will get to a given destination first, a guy who is in a hurry and running or a one who is not in a hurry and is walking.
This example is as corny as the question in the thread.
Beyond what "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather did in the ring (Gatti vs Mayweather is still a great fight to watch), Floyd "Money" Mayweather will be remembered for the example that he's helped set for the next few generations of fighters coming along.
Their ring styles are all different, but you don't have Saul Alvarez putting the Mexico TV deal through only Canelo Promotions or have Mikey Garcia basically on a handshake deal with Showtime for full payout, or even Joshua and his 80/20 deal with Matchroom Sport where he keeps all of his sponsor money too , without the success that Floyd Mayweather/Al Haymon were able to achieve.
Things won't work out for everyone (Chavez Jr and Broner to varying degrees), but it'll work out for far more folks than it doesn't work out for.

Floyd just fought the biggest fight in history bro. Your «he’s retired» line dont work..
I agree tho. Floyd is obviously the bigger name. Pac’s career went downhill fast after the JMM KO. Come to think about it Pac was an absolute star for a Very short period. Maybe from 2008-2012 while Floyd has consistently been on top ever since he beat Oscar.
Manny did have one of the greatest runs in boxing history tho. No one can take that away from him. His run was so good that most people thought he was on PED’s even before he refused the random blood tests
Pac is heading down the Roy Jones road of tarnishing his own legacy by losing to mediocre fighters.
